People suck! I have a couple dents in that exact same spot. I havent contacted a PDR guy yet, how was he able to access it to get it out?
Probably through the trunk

So OP, I’m curious… where you parked at the gym, did you happen to check to see if there are any exterior cams that may have recorded someone leaving that dent?

I parked kind of far out down in the middle lane so the car could be seen if you’re standing at the front desk, but unfortunately the camera couldn’t see out that far very clearly. There was a lifted truck that parked like 2-3 spots in view of the car and another car in the line behind me a couple spots to the left.

I park away from everyone for a reason. I don't care if I have to walk a mile. I pride myself on how clean I keep this car even as a daily, then shitheads park next to you and deliberately do this. I fucking detest people.

There are just very jealous, and shitty people in this world, more so now, than ever before. Entitlement. They believe us folks that work hard for our prized “possessions”, don’t deserve them. There are tent-towns full of homeless that deserve a piece of what we have worked our entire adult lives for. It’s complete BS. Defunding police has just allowed the behavior and mindset to happen more frequently, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
Whatever you do, never, and I mean never EVER, drive through Downtown Portland at night. If one of the flash-mobs bust out, they make it a point to destroy everything that isn’t a gigantic pile of shit. They will walk right over your Mustang, just like they did the Porsche Panamera a few nights ago. Because, mobs rule. 🙄

My DD is a very nice Lexus, lowered, wheels, etc…..Home Depot Portland - parked 15-20 spots from the nearest car, come out to a pile of shit with F America decals all over it, parked within 12” of drivers door (I have license plates that support fallen LEO’s - so I’m sure that’s probably part of the reason). They thought they were funny/assholes.
I spent 10 minutes waiting for them to come out, and before entering from the passenger side of my car, I made sure to disconnect a few vacuum hoses from their wheel well. Probably not the best idea, but assholes that are deliberate assholes, need to be told so.

I definitely recommend it. Reliable, and you don't have to care that much. Park right up front at the grocery store, slam doors, wash it once a month, the works. It's pretty freeing, lol. That's the only downside of having something nice, there's inherent stress in keeping it nice (unless you're absolutely loaded).
I’ve had beater cars before, and am thinking about getting another one but the only issue is that after you pick up your groceries or whatever, the drive home sucks and at least 75% of the time I would pull up at the lights and wish that I was in my Mustang.
Since I spend most of my days on the road for work , when I get in my car I’m usually in a hurry to get from A to B. This is why I currently daily the Mustang.
It’s a dilemma, worry about parking vs smoking 99% of people on the road on the way home lol

My Mustang was less than 3 days old before someone opened their door onto the rear wheel arch. PDR sorted it, but of course at my cost.

A lot of people are oblivious to anyone else but themselves these days. And when you call people out for this sort of thing, it's you who has the problem not them.

I think the best thing to do in these situations, where you know who did it, is just let one of their tires down. They inconvenienced you, then return the favor.

And you’re in Australia. I’m disappointed I was somewhat naive to think it might be different there. Oh well.

Lady in my Mustang Club had her car damaged twice. The first on the bumper was light enough to rub out the second was large scrape on the fender . Yes some people are real A Holes , remember when a kid 1970's a note was left with contact info when car was bumped into in a parking lot

With the right PDR professional, it'll come right out. Just had a dent in my roof fixed and it's amazing the work they can do.

This has always been one of my biggest fears of having a really nice Car.
There is no respect for some people and they will go out of their way, just to tear up or deface someone else's things, Cars, etc.
When you have nice Cars, the owners work their butts off to be able to have nice things and some, just can't get over this, so they scratch, bent, and they think what they did is funny.
F#$K those people.
It didn't used to be this way and now it's getting worse.
