I live in a semi large city and the reports show over 800 accidents per month and increasing.
With a population of around 400,000, there's a good chance of someone nailing you at any moment.
I don't like those odds.
This has always been one of my biggest fears of having a really nice Car.
There is no respect for some people and they will go out of their way, just to tear up or deface someone else's things, Cars, etc.
When you have nice Cars, the owners work their butts off to be able to have nice things...
I want to be able to see, drive, and compare the Car or Truck that I am interested. And I want to see, and Drive the actual Car that I am going to buy, looking for issues, etc.
I still like to visit the Stealership to look at and Dream of the Next One. Internet just does not do that for me.
I have used VMP several times and have always been happy with their tunes..
And like everyone has said, you will do the slow rev data log and then some wide open pulls in a safe remote area for the tuner to see what going on with all the PID's selected.
Or after all this,
I just decided to...
So,
I thought I heard that we will be getting E15 and it be the New standard moving beyond the E10, which is our norm.
For me and my 2017 Roush RS3 on Phase 2 tuning from Roush,
I am wondering if that will be enough to lean the car out and may need an update?
Will probably call or email...
One thing about the 13-14 Shelby's is that it can really be driven around town in 2nd gear in most City situations.
Starting out in 2nd requires a little clutch slipping, but I had tried it just to see.
And 2nd is good for way above legal in town speed limits.
If my 13 Shelby had been a...
One thing for sure is if I had keep my 13, I would have done the 3:73 rear gears as the stock 3:31 is just too tall.
I thought it would really come alive with the 3:73's.
I can respect your decision, but I actually sold my 2013 Shelby GT500 with everything but the glass Roof and got my current 2017 Roush RS3 as in my picture to the left.
Yes, the 13-14 GT500 are the last of the True Carroll Shelby influence.
They are very nice, torque masters, great...
So Saturday, I got a Recall letter from Ford saying that my Car has a recall on the Rear View Camera. Says that it can just drop dead.
I have not had any issues, but hey, may be a Upgraded Camera.
I do hate taking my Car to the Dealership, but my luck, if I don't, my Camera would drop dead...
I think the most I have seen with out the computer adding timing is around 17 degree's, but it is a Stock Roush 2.3 TVS on a Phase 2 tune, 80mm pulley.
I have see on the N Gauge add - 3.5-4 at the most, so Car seems happy with it adding the 3-4 degree's timing.
Have not data logged this as my...
My 2017 Roush RS3 on a Roush Phase 2, 727hp and I watch the Knock activity with my N Gauge and my car does good with only 4oz of Boostane with 15 gallons of 91 Octane.
N Gauge shows - knock, so adding timing, so it's happy.
If I don't put any Boostane in and have just the 91 octane, it will show...
Not to derail OP's thread, but my 17 RS3's Hood vents are a joke.
The openings are only about 1" hole. Not much is going to happen there.'
I have opened them up a bit, but for stock, really!.
Might as well not even be in there.
I only have experience with the 2.3 TVS, but i was thinking that if you have a 69mm on a 2.3 vs a 69mm on the 2.65, the 2.65 would see a significantly higher pressure in boost as it is a larger rotor pack and moving more air/fuel.
Since I believe both are being mentioned here.
A 69mm on the 2.3...
