HP/ torque rating with 91 Octane?

Are those figures out?
We don't have 93 octane here. Some gas stations do have 94, but I don't use that gas station. Plus,

I read that EB engine lose 13% using 87? That's a 40hp loss, but I don't think I will use regular since it recommends premium.

My guess is about a 10-15 horsepower loss on 91 octane. Haven't seen any definitive numbers though.

Edit: My guess is based on past experiences with turbo charged 4 cylinders.

"If you fill up using 87 octane, you’ll be down on horsepower—by about one percent according to Ford. So it’s highly unlikely you’ll notice."

You can run regular, unless that 4.35 horsepower is critical to you.
I've been running a 2012 GT in regular competition for three years with no
problems with 87 octane (and 10% ethanol as required in CA). Oh, and winning.
Save the money.

I believe Moustache is asking about the Ecoboost model. The 1% horsepower loss is for the GT if I remember correctly.

Gas octane effects turbo'd engines dramatically more than naturally aspirated engines. I'd recommend sticking to 91 octane for the Ecoboost, going to a lower octane will loose power and fuel efficiency.

you're better off going with PetroCan 94. collect their points and get $0.10/liter off. 94 is only .03 more than 91.
at 91 you will lose a little power
