How much does DA hurt 60-130 time??

It’s been super hot here lately I ran yesterday afternoon. It was 96 deg 3500 ft DA and then ran this morning 65 degs and around 1500 DA.

Just showing how much DA can hurt your times. I seen 7 psi yesterday in 96 deg and 8 psi this morning on boost gauge.

Look at how Cleetus struggles to boost up his turbos on Mullet at high altitude and had to get put Nitrous to boost up because it just wasn’t boosting more than 4psi to launch. Im at 9000-10000Da and Im getting 9.6psi with a 3.0 pulley on whipple 2.9 gen2 with a 10rib. And yes, I confirmed its altitude and not a leak and the bypass is working correctly. Did all kinds of testing but altitude just affects it that much.

5.76 with a 2800A.

Estimating to be about a 45-60hp loss at the crank. Boost pressure shows about 1.4psi less @ 2800DA VS. 400DA.

My testing grounds are at 570' ASL.
