Anyone familiar with how the torque on a whipple setup hits compared to that of a TVS blower?
Both on Dynojet, both Stage 2.
Whipple gets the benefit of 93 octane, Edelbrock on 91, making 10* peak timing.
TVS offers 10% more torque at peak, but it comes in MUCH sooner.
450HP at 4k vs 370 isn’t even a competition.
Virtually identical Hp at 6500rpm (meaning the TVS is making better power everywhere up until that point).
Manual street car + TVS = stupid fun
I found the power delivery of the Gen 2 Whipple to be quite disappointing, which is why I made the swap.

I thought it might be best to add this one also, before people start suggesting that the data I used was cherry-picked. Note that this one reads higher than the previous comparison in every respect and is also on 91. Quite the opposite of choosing the data to suit the conclusion.
Identical Hp between this and the Whipple at 6k, the Whipple making an extra 13Hp at 7200.
In other words, the average power from 6000-7200rpm is virtually inseparable between the two.

I can say that If you have really sticky street tires (i have toyo r888r's) and good suspension with no hop the SC on a 2018+ A10 in drag mode is very violent in comparison to when I was stock. you feel like you're going airborne at times. Or your foot gets kicked off the accelerator when you go from first to second or 2 to third in drag mode. Drag mode with a good setup on an A10 kicks hard in those lower gears if tires stick. Add sc to that and It's nasty for a street car. I can't say for 18+ plus with manual. ONly have driven blown 2015 and a 12 gt500 manuals

If you don't have good tires or suspension then it's kind of like running on ice and of course hops badly from a dig.

Just my 2 cents.
