I've been making sure to get some 30-90mph pulls in to make sure things are seating in nicely. I've been up to 100ish a couple times now. I'm more likely to hit a coyote than anything else, that would be ironic...

I burped the throttle on a nice straight rural road around here once... to 86 according to xGPS. Unfortunately I live in Seattle and traffic / road conditions / cops don't let me get much above normally super-slow freeway speeds here. I can't wait to go to Sacramento on a road trip soon. That should see me getting a little faster. But honestly, constant fast speed isn't for me. But I do like to gun it a bit in the corners :D

You think you are funny? Not a bit......
I found it hilarious. I find it hard to believe you've never sped is your life, becuase if you have you're a hippocrite. The posted speed limit is what is supposedly safe. Like others have said, if no one is around whats the harm???

Like a few other's 140 mph, over a bridge I was checking to see if the hood shake had gone away after adjusting the hood stops. I am happy to say that yes there is no shake! I was VERY impressed with how the car handled at that speed, it was very easy to steer and the responsiveness was fantastic!

Not as fast as I would like to, but I've only been on public and busy roads so far. I also have told myself I'm absolutely not going to get pulled over for speeding when I don't even have plates yet.

The plates came this weekend, so it's game on!

About 110 today. Car pulls very nicely in 4th and 5th gear.

It's kind of like the saying:

If a man says something and his wife isn't around to hear it, is he still wrong?

The answer is yes, at least that's what I've come to find out.

Similarly in this situation, doing something illegal because no one is around or just because "everyone one else is doing it" doesn't make it right either. That being said, to not sound like a hypocrite, I do speed sometimes within reason.

If you intend to hit the rev limits though, do yourself and everyone else a favor and find a local track/strip.

So wait. When your wife isn't around, anything you say is wrong? Don't believe her if that is what she's telling you. :D
