Just getting my car out for another season of smiles, I envy all those that have nice weather year round. Please excuse my lack of knowledge in this area, pretty new to the mustang and modding scene. As a primer, I have been using the search function for some time but haven't had any luck so...
I was bored today so looking through eBay for random stuff and came across K2 Motors long tube headers for 11-15 5.0 Mustang, anyone heard of this company?
It seems really cheap to me considering the prices I have seen on some popular sites. I am not interested in buying LTH at this point...
Pretty sure it was mentioned in the previous thread, just over $200 from Ford dealership, sounds pretty cheap for a TB though. Would like to get my hands on the part number, seems to be missing from the various threads I have been reading.
Yeah, seems pricey! The B302 intake manifold + install kit will run you around $700-$800 plus you have to lose the STB and lower the engine IIRC. Perhaps once it is widely available it will come down in price.
And that site has it at $999.99 on sale from $1599.99... OUCH!
It seems to be on their website now

1 vendor seems to have it at $999

Mine feels slow in comparison to driving my friends 94GT with upgraded engine but it is not. The driving experience is vastly different, more refined. On a twisty track with the club, my stock S550 GT w/PP kept pace with the Shelbys and a B302 ... and I was in Sport+ mode not Track mode as it...
I like it, sorta. The "if it ain't functional" part of me says no but the other part of me says yes.
IMO, I think that the top edges need refining to be almost flat to mold better to the lines of the car and be less noticeable ... just seems a little thick at the top.
Has anyone ever considered adding in the Mustang "Pony + 50 YEARS" logo into their stripe combinations? I was thinking that it may look pretty cool in the center of the "backwards C" stripe or perhaps trunk lid or hood. Thoughts?

Most rustproofing is covering the hidden bits of your car, making sure that you have any paint chips covered and a good paint sealant will go a very long way to ensure that your car looks good for a long time.
Mine goes away for the winter.
1. Oil change so she is ready to rock when the snow/salt goes away.
2. Full tank of gas
3. On wheel dollies to easily move around the garage without starting (also push right to wall in garage)
4. Battery minder/tender wired under hood, not taking battery out
5...
Not sure if you have Krown Rustproofing in your area but they are the go to place for me and my vehicles. I store my Mustang for the bad months but all my other cars get rust proofed by Krown every fall.
They drill your car and insert the Krown "stuff" inside all areas, I never have my cars...
Back in the day, the 5.0L mill was bigger, heavier and put out significantly less HP, perhaps you could have hooked up some FI system without an intercooler? The new 5.0 is smaller, lighter and likely reaching its max output (maybe another 100HP keeping it NA) considering the build specs and...
Sad that people are so wrapped in their car like it is their entire life or something. Insulting someones ride like that is just low class.
Before buying my GT Prem, I took a 2SS out for a test drive and the interior was just not my thing. The 2016 looks to have some really cool features and...
