Laws are for the ignorant. If there was no speed limit, there would be countless morons merging onto the freeway and attempting to go tripple digits Monday morning through commuter traffic.

I on the other hand am not that stupid, and if I want to go tripple digits in the middle of nowhere when I know the area and know that my tires and vehicle are in top condition, I'm going to do just that.

As long as I'm not putting anybody else at risk, I will do as I please.

I ain't fool enough to lecture people on a forum about how they should behave on public roads ( I've done 130 years ago ), but these days I do take it to the road course and the drag strip when I want to go fast.

130 on a deserted stretch of toll road. I noticed the right side of the hood was flexing pretty bad so I backed it down quick. I've since moved the bumpers up a bit to keep the hood steady.

The thing I love is everyone tries to blame speed for all the accidents. If speed was the issue Germany would have a million deaths per year considering that there are no speed limits over there but what they do have is common sense laws such as if ur caught doing anything else but driving while in the car cops have the right to arrest u (such as deinking a leisure coffee or texting away) 2nd the drivers in nearly the whole world get better training then here. Most countries you have to also take road test with a manual car and know how to drive it in all types of roads.
So my point is instead of crying over speed you should go and cry about all of the other laws that are bad. I person texting and driving is way worse than someone going 130mph in a car that is made for it. Usually the person driving 130 is paying way more attention to the road then any other driver. Also by no means am I saying go speed on any road u can but all of us hopefully have enough common sense to know where and when to do it.

I completely agree! It pisses me off so much when I see someone texting or reading a book while driving. Also, I lived in Germany for 2 years and in that time only saw 2 accidents on the autobahn.

Made a pull up to 145 about a week ago and about 130 earlier today. Although, 99.99% of the time I'm no more than 10-15 over the limit. Got roughly 1200 miles on the car. The comment about getting your blood pumping is spot on too!

Sounds like alot of irresponsible and reckless driving to me. When you play around on public roads you are not only endangering yourself but innocent people. You're Just making a bad name for everyone else.

If you want to race and hit 150 take it to a track.
