I’ve seen and heard of several all motor FBO guys getting down to sub 3000lbs.

Currently got the car down to 3320.
All the basic low hanging fruit mods have been done. (Dumps, k member, tbm brakes, kirkey seats, fiberglass doors, etc)

Still have the floor carpet, the door cards,

(I’m boosted just want to see how far 93 can actually go via WR)

Curious to see what I’m missing here.
Maybe someone can shelight on what to do?

Still planning on fiberglass dash, ac delete, optic armor front and rear, fuel cell, CF hood n trunk.

But probably looking at another 200lbs.

Where’s the 100-200 other?

Yeah the audio delete will be part of the fiberglass dash. Pretty much airbags, and radio will be deleted along with A/C.

i estimate 110lbs off from that, but maybe its more? Center console is also getting swapped to fiberglass. But that’s maybe 9-10lb at best.

Subbed. How much power you making on 93?
680whp
ESS G3X
120mm pulley.
Running consistent mid 5’s on 70 degree days
Hero DA i suspect a 5.3?

still on a BAP,

goal is to hit consistent 4’s on 93 60-130

I’ve made 740 rwhp on true, unmolested 93 so more power is there if you want it. That was through cats too!

mostly low hanging fruit, got most of the stuff outlined here done.

except for CF driveshaft n optic armor windows.

What i’m in search for is how to get to 3k without having to do a tubular front end. ( which ive seen done a couple of times)

leaves me dumbfounded tbh.

on a gen 3? That’s interesting. What’s your power adder?
Always been advised to keep her at 700whp or less on 93.

I’ll echo @engineermike. Plenty more power on the table, though I’ve never put my car on a dyno.

Gen 3, 10R80, 100% 93 octane (no booster or additives), Whipple, long tubes, 4200lbs with me in it and a full tank of gas. The car has been 5.6-5.7 on the 3.75” (11-12psi) pulley in hero DA and consistent 5.7s on the 3.25” (15-16psi) pulley in 1000-1200’ DA. My car likely weighed ~600lbs more than yours right now.

If I took 1000lbs out of the car it’d easily have been in the 4s on 93 octane.

Very nice! Understood I’ll reevaluate on that end.

So spoke the gentleman who runs this car and he claims no CF or fiberglass parts.
But it is fully gutted. No dash, no center console, if you can take it off its off. So I guess you could say this has been answered. You can get to 3k without spending money on CF or FG. He’s an FBO / E car running mid 6’s

Why gut a newer car if it's not a track only car

And why try to go fast with an MT-82?

Does he have a weight ticket/slip?

He probably does but won't share it.
Either way, times are believable if it truly is at that weight.

It isn't his daily, it makes sense there - just a grudge car.
