Man, trying to find wheels is extremely difficult. I remember being in tire shops and they would have big magazines of rims you could order etc.. I need help trying to pick out some wheels and tires. I know I want 305's all around with a squared stance. What size rims do I need? What is the best online visualizer tool for selecting wheels? Discount tire has an actually decent visualizer but no wheels that I like. anyone know of another site like that with more wheel options? I have 2021 Performance pack car.

There's probably other folks here better suited, but i've been using the sites below as a guide.

https://wheelwarehouse.com/. Can get an idea of what some wheels would look on the car

https://www.tiresandco.ca/tire-equivalence-advice.html
please no. Too many good mustang specific wheels to use generic wheel sites that are going to give you some unknown construction and weight wheel made for generic car with funky offsets where you have to use hub centering rings.

try Apex wheels or LMR/SPE. Both have good flowformed options with mustang specific fitments. apex also has forged options.

If you want to run 19x11 square with 305/30 tires, you either run rear wheel ET52 offsets on the front paired with 1ā€/25mm spacers or you buy a ET26 front from Apex and no spacers required. However you do want more than factory camber to tuck those 11ā€ wide fronts under the fenders.

camber plates are preferred over crash bolts, and for spacers extended front wheel studs with 1ā€ slip on spacers (or those apex ET26 wheels) are preferred over bolt on spacers.

both SVE and Apex each have 5 or 6 really good options/designs for 11ā€ wheels which you cant go wrong with.

Agreed. I was referencing the wheelwarehouse site so OP could visualize how a color or style wheel would look oh his vehicle and not using those generic brands. I'm in the process of trying to figure it out as well, but it's hard for me to visualize how wheels and color combo would look on my carbonized grey while trying to avoid black wheels.

11 inch wide. AM is a good start. I would look through the picture of owners cars to get a sense if you like them. I would also recommend looking through our carbonized grey sub forum for colors and styles.

While I agree Apex is top tier, OP may be more interested in form over function.

I had anthracite grey on my carbon grey and liked them. Then moved over to gloss white, which I love

Apex. Go 11ā€ wide all the way around if you want 305’s, you can get the proper offsets up front (+26 I believe) from Apex so you don’t need spacers and extended studs.

I would suggest 19x11, Continental makes the Extreme Contact Sport 02 in 305/35/19. An excellent summer tire (if that’s what you want) and a long sought after size that not many make

or find a set of 18-20 Oem PP2 wheels. Ford set it up for 305 square. You ll get a little polk in the front. What about GT350 setups, will they work?

Rear offsets on the GT350 spec wheels may be problematic on a GT. 19x11 +62

Like rod said american muscle is a good sight. If you want to get the more expensive rims companies will drill lug holes out of their rims to make sure you get what you want.
Chip Foose and Fordgeline are two good examples of companies that drill the lug pattern for you.. some companies have a longer wait time than others because the build the rims as you but.

American muscle does not offer a visualized option to see what wheels look like on the car.

The trouble is I'm a relative noob in this regard. Why can't I just contact a tire / wheel company and tell them what my car is and tell them I want 305's all the way around and them tell me what I need? I can't locate anything on any website, its absolutely frustrating. You guys are talking about cambers, and offsets and I have no idea what any of that means. I do know that my car is a PP car and i cannot run nor want to run spacers. If 305's aren't possible in the front, i could settle for 295's but I def want 305's in the rear at minimum.

Im going through the same process now. I wanted to do a square setup, but didn't want to run spacers and install new wheels studs. Car is driven maybe 5k during the summer months. So im settling on a set of velgen 20x10/20x11s. Wheel studs aren't a hard thing to replace but I just don't feel like doing it. From forums members ive been told the 285s in front and 305 conti in the rear will fit with non-issue and no poke. Considering the car is only a summer car I feel thisnis the best fit for me.

Edit :: From whatni gathered you can also contact the rim manufacturer about specs for tire width, fitment, and a set of custom rims for your a certain offset or luggage pattern.

It’s the poke I’m looking for. Like the old school look of big fat tires. I’d like to run 315’s in the rear honestly, looks fantastic. But all the other tech details I just don’t know. I’ll keep doing research

If you want to run 19x11 all the way around, go to Apex Wheels. This is the fitment you want if you don’t want to run spacers up front (even though you have a PP car, you can in fact run spacers)
