What CAI? Does it require a tune? Assuming since you did not state otherwise that you’re still on the stock tune?

Any notifications via Ford Pass or the information screen in the car beyond the wrench light?

It’s a 2021 so you shouldn’t be having any issues….it might be time for a trip to the dealer to have it checked under warranty. (Assuming you’re still in the 3/36 or 5/60.

No apologies needed, people here like to help.
no that’s it on the dash , yes I am

If you installed a CAI and you get this problem intermittently, check all the piping/clamps between the CAI, MAF, and throttle body. If it's happening at lower speeds, something might be leaking when the engine moves on the mounts.

I had a similar problem a long time ago on a VW GTi. In that case it turned out to be a split intake boot after the mass flow sensor and only seemed to open up sometimes. Extra air would get sucked in after the MAF and the mixture would go lean, lose power, close the split, regain power, open the split, repeat ad nauseum.

it is just weird because it’s not every time I drive sometimes I can floor it and nothing sometimes I cant and it’ll do that or it gets bad enough and shoots me into limp mode
Continue to monitor the situation and see if you are able to recreate the scenario conditions.

Definitely seems like you will have something get worse with time. If you can recreate the conditions in which the car struggles, get a good mechanic with a high quality scan tool to observe and watch live data when accelerating when the car has this mishap. This is your best bet to properly diagnose the issue.

Sadly, don't waste your time taking it to a dealer, they won't do anything for you. They will charge you and say they couldn't find anything. 🙄
If the dealer does by chance do find something, this will most likely be their response...

unmetered air getting into the engine after the MAF sensor will absolutely cause a stumble. Good call. Exact same thing happened on the wife’s Murano with a split boot. Good call.

Does the issue happen across the RPM range or is it only around specific RPM's? If you hold the clutch down when the vibrating starts, does it stop?
