Glad it all worked out for ya. That is cool the cars can update via satellite. But what was being updated and why? HmmmSo liberty ford called me today and said car is ready for pickup! battery died in garage when i was storing for winter (idk how though because car has power save mode from factory) but anyway i guess when i was trying to jump the car with my nissan sentra my mustang was recieving an update and the car didnt have enough juice in the battery to keep the update going. So they told me later on when i was trying to jump the car i got nothing because the update didnt go through and locked the ecu. So all they did was restart my ecu with there computer and completed the update. The only thing i didnt understand was how my car was updating with out being at a dealership? I work at nissan and the only way to update a car is using consult 3 plus but dave told me at ford that our cars can recieve updates via satelite, didnt know that but pretty cool! Just glad to gt my car back safe and sound![]()
You're very welcome, IPOGT!I'm certain they'll figure it out. Things happen. Glad the dealer is close.
I'm anal about mine as well, but anyone would want this repaired. That's what warranties are for. I'm sure Ford will take care of it. They have been great trying to help me with my third shift weekend built car. Thanks to Deysha. It's frustrating though.
