How much power can I make with a Boost a pump (BAP) on 91 (P1X Procharged)
FOR MORE CONTEXT READ BELOW:
I was planning on getting a return style fuel system and running e85 with the ID1300-XDS and 2018 ported manifold (that I already purchased) but I ran into some cosmetic complications that may cost me a pretty penny.
For a bit more context I hit an animal that broke my GT500 bumper that I just wrapped satin black. Debating removing the whole wrap, and paint correcting/ceramic coating the car cause my paint is horrible (which is why I got the wrap) the wrap is also really shitty but that’s a whole other story and issue on its own.
I’ve been planning on this big power upgrade for a long time but I’m not sure if I’m jumping the gun, should I just use what I currently have and do the re-tune for now or go through with the return style system?
My car has a really really garbage tune from the last company that did it. I’m only making 505whp and have a rev limiter at 5.2kRPM it also wants to stall out occasionally. That’s why I’m contemplating simply using what I got and holding off on the return style system for some time. If it’s a negligible power increase due to the BAP like max HP being 550whp I’d rather just wait, cause dyno tunes aren’t cheap.
