It's totally worth it, look at it this way, you're looking at a ~$48,000 car, so the Premier interior, is what? About 8/10ths of a percent of the total cost. :)

Like I said, the Redline would be _hot_, but since that's not everyone's thing, the Ebony gives you the better quality with the same color you'd get anyway :D

I've learned that's a very dangerous way for me to think... It's too easy to bump myself by thousands of dollars or more on a purchase like this if I think about how much each thing is vs the total price... Now, I look at each thing individually. I imagine that $7 per month, and think about what else I could do with it. In this case, I'd rather see nice contrast stitching and better materials in my vehicle and think to myself "$7 well spent."

I did the same with the GT performance package. $50 per month... that's a decent amount of money, but I get to pay for stuff that I like I would have done over time instead of by lump sum. I'm not sure, but I think there is a 0% special right now (and hopefully when my car gets here) so that's free money. Even if it's close to 0, that's free enough for me!

Fastback will always look better than a convertible but sometimes I wouldn't mind having the wind blow over top of me. Reasons I will never own one though is, the cloth kills the lines of a car. I hate the two tone look it gives. The extra weight from reinforcement and it's just an extra thing to break/malfunction on the car.

One of the reasons I WASN'T going to get another vert (had a S197 vert), UNTIL I saw my S550 vert on the lot. :D

Maybe it's just me but I actually LIKE the lines of the new vert roof, as well as the contrast between the black roof and TY (think how many people vinyl/paint their roofs black on fastback).

In the end, though, to each their own; that's why they sell both.

I love the two tone look and was seriously considering the black roof on the coupe. I had a black and white wrangler that I loved. White and black has always been my look.

That's a fine looking Jeep, my daughter loves her (and everyone else's) Wrangler.

I did. I got the GT convertible manual with 401A, GT Performance Package, and Premier Interior. Thanks to everyone for your recommendations!
Sweet! Your going to love it.

Still enjoying the vert out here :D. Love the way the coupes look compared to my vert with the top up, but when it's down...

RacerX, just a note. Alton's build was done before the MFG offered a convertible version of the exhaust he used. He then had his installer modify the convertible bracing to allow the catback to fit. That type of work around is now avoidable with the availability of the vert model exhaust kits.
Sorry I may be missing something, but I don't see any corsa xtreme cat-backs for verts. Are you just referring to the other options out there? I thought after almost two years Corsa would have something out for verts, but still nothing? Damn. A little off topic but I wonder if there are even any plans.

I actually clicked on every build thread and found all the convertible ones after your previous post. I didn't see that first one that you listed though. That is an awesome looking vehicle.

Thanks for your help!
Thanks man :D :D

Alton's ( altjx ) car is poop, I'd be too embarrassed to post pics if I were him ...

:D
Lmao. I'm in Hawaii this week for work, but when I get back, those pics are coming in hot!!!!!!!
