Also I work construction too. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for driving my car in and out of job sites but again, 2 years and 35k miles since I boosted it and no real issues. 83k total on the car.

That's what I'm talking about. Likeminded and everything.

Who says we can't have it all lol

Everyone at work says I'm crazy for not driving my truck more but I wake up each day and have to make a decision.... 2005 stock f150 or 19 twin turbo gt. Needless to say my truck only comes out when I have to haul big shit. I put about 1000 miles on my truck a year and close to 20k on the mustang. Heat seems to be the big killer on the coyote so when I'm smashing on it I usually just stick to 3 or less back to back runs and let it cool down. If my cht reach 228° I let it chill until I'm back down to 200°ish. Love the fact I live far enough out of town that I get to open it up multiple times every day.

That's awesome.
Personally can't wait to do the same.

But your trying to make 900-950hp on the stock engine, @Zrussian13 is not. If its your daily, i wouldn't recommend that power level. Yes, you can make that power, but it could also hurt the engine. Just being realistic. My car makes power in that range, but I also have a daily driver if something happens.

I have to agree on that. But that's also what a boost controller is for. Turn it up when it's time to have fun but definitely have a plan B for your daily if things go south! I'd be a lot more weary if I was DDing a stock engine over 800whp.

Noted. I'll keep it in mind and stay away from pushing my luck.
But I''m also factoring in a built motor, I constantly save and I know that purchase is going to happen.

Now that you mentioned that though;

You know it's funny. I also got a quote from another speed shop (one not as well known but more of a local badass one) I won't name drop, but they're known for selling 1000whp packages on both blowers and turbo setups on stock trans/ bottom end gen 3's.

Guy swore up and down to me that my car would be fine as long as I got head studs, springs, copper headgaskets, OPG's and such. Bottom line though the bottom end is untouched.

He's got many cars pushing that much. We're talking at least 6 or 7 that have got a name out here locally from racing.

I did my digging some guys are doing just fine.
Some guys are parting out their car with no comment.

One guy manage to spill the beans and reveal his motor blew and they blamed him.
And he advised to go with RareFab/RSA.

Really??? We couldnt get my trans out with out taking the turbos off the manifolds. And what it looked like to me was the turbo was completely in the way of the dip stick. I was planing on at least putting the turbo up on the manifold and double checking for room to get to the dip stick.

What version kit do you have? do you have two little oil drain backs on the turbos or one big one in the middle? We couldnt get to the bell housing bolts\ starter with the turbos still on it. im using the base ball bearing turbos (powder coated black).
I had to take off the pass side turbo and adapter to remove the trans, the drivers side stayed on.

This is the oil drain I have.

RSA will advise you to go with a FFRE short block which you can order from Real Street Performance or FFRE. Two more really good companies to deal with.

Yes and no, whether it can handle it. My original tuner/installer wouldn't go over 650 on pump gas. And it still got hurt on the Dyno and I lost a bunch of compression on the last driver's side cylinder. I Just had a turbo kit installed and not a month later I was pulling the motor to get it re-built.

Just so you know, if it gets hurt for any reason, you are on the hook, the shop isn't going to do shit. Its just the chance you take doing all this fun nonsense.

If that thing detonates its done. I have first hand expierence. The rods/crank can take it, but the pistons are kinda shitty. If you run E85 all the time I assume its less likely to detonate. I am 100% 93 octance so no clue about E.

Damn, welp. That opens my eyes when it comes to 93.

My car has lived on E since 6600 miles and i'm currently scratching 40k.
Granted not apples to apples as I'm not boosted yet, just typical FBO.

Begs the question though. Sorry you had to go through all of that.

It was a long road but it is a monster now. I can go 1500 whp on my new engine no problem. But im not going to ruin my current transmission just to get a number.

700WHP is a shit load of power for a street car just keep that in mind.

When the boost comes on it makes it all worth it. And I really like the blow off valve noises.

PSSSSH!!!

Nice! Definite goals.
So you're not rocking a built tranny yet eh? 10spd or manual?
