Took my car to the track friday night and ran a new best 9.3 @ 149, Full weight premium 3950lbs race weight, stock motor around 15.5psi or so on this pass. We have found the limits of the stock fuel system with BAP running Q16 fuel in this weather with open dumps we were starting to run lean assuming around 900WHP. Also found the limit of the stock half shafts the next pass after this they do not like 1.40 60's at this weight lol.

Nice! Did you break the stock 6r80 or just built it for good measure?
Just the intermediate shaft but I went ahead and did Exedy clutches while I was there... I will prob do a billet planetary next year

Dang that’s flying what injectors are you running? Who are you tuned by ? What Bap?
DW95s and tuned by Lund.

@VRP At what power level did the intermediate shaft break? Did it happen at the drag strip?

I was close on the Paxton yesterday with 3.48.

Damm that paxton on the e.48 is flying!!!.To op was you on a transbrake to get your car to stall that high up on your launch?

Damm that paxton on the e.48 is flying!!!.To op was you on a transbrake to get your car to stall that high up on your launch?
He must have weight reduction no way a 3.48 paxton is going that fast and or surviving, And yes my car does have a 2 Relay Trans brake it was set at 3600 that pass... Next pass I tried 3700 and it broke a half shaft!

With Turbos its definitely needed... Id guess the car would run 3-4 tenths slower on the foot brake since a 3B converter can only stall to about 3000 on the footbrake and thats like a 2psi launch if using a 2 step at that rpm..

Gotcha. I'm trying to guesstimate what my car would pick up with a brake.

Yea he had his back seat and pass seat,but for a 3.48 pulley he is flying.He put it on me with my d1 lol.
