Damn, stretched a head bolt at 15psi? I'm scared now lol I didn't think that would be a problem until higher boost levels. Might be dialing back to 14psi on my car...
MFer ran 8s @ over 150... what are you scared about?

I lifted my heads slightly at 17psi with the Whipple previously. Coolant seeped ever so gently from the rear of the heads like the engine was crying under full boost.
It happens. All I did was buy an aluminator 11:1 short block and did pac 1234x valve springs and arp head studs. Been doing great so far around 1000whp.

Haha that's true. Just the 15psi number made me think "oh shit, I run 15psi" lol.

I wound up finding that 3 out of 4 cylinders on passenger side had cracks in the porcelain on the plugs.. second time I've had this issue! Long story but I should've pulled all 8 plugs for a second time and inspected them once again, believe this was my issue!

Always check the cheap and easy stuff first. I’m super glad you found your issue.

Any idea how they got cracked??

I believe either the package was dropped or a defective batch.. A few months ago the when I originally installed all these the car developed a serious misfire which wound up being the same ordeal on the drivers side plugs, I pulled them found the cracking and replaced and everything looked good on logs and it felt good no more break up... Fast forward to now car always felt fine maybe a little down on power and dyno showed a serious issue still... wound up being other plugs I never checked. My fault totally but the damn thing seems great now...definitely healthy!

Never seen all 8 plugs have the porcelain crack. Just seems of that even if the box was dropped that all 8 would end up cracked like that.

In the old days the 5/8 or 13/16 spark plug sockets had a rubber insert, it was designed to protect the plug from side loading during install. IMO those plugs cracked due to an installation error the socket was side loaded and caused the plug to crack. I have never seen a cracked plug from like that from any manufacturer.

Still make em just can't be a cheap ass. Mine is rubber insert and built in swivel. I agree that highly possible they were damaged on install.

It's odd that you experienced the same cracking problem twice but in any rate I'm glad you solved the issue, easier to put new plugs in as opposed to changing valve springs.
