If you want a very good ride with some upgraded handling return to the stock springs and add Bilstein B6 shocks and struts. Bilstein designed the dampers around the stock spring rates. If you like twin tubes call Mike D at Steeda.

The stock dampers are not enough to control the stock springs much less stiffer.
Thanks for that. Do Bilstein make a shock that will suit my lowered Vogtland springs?. I'd rather keep the lower ride height

marketed that they have been engineered and tested to work perfectly with stock dampers
The key word might be 'marketed'. The PP1 rear dampers are well documented as having insufficient rebound damping so an increased spring rate will only make it worse.

If you want to keep the springs def go with upgraded dampers and cut bump stops.

The B6's will work with your springs
just like the factory dampers "work", but better. Personally I would step up to adjustable dampers so you can (try) dial in the needed damping forces.

B6 is still a performance shock. Luxury ride it is NOT. It's not harsh at all, but NOT a luxury ride by any means. It would work great with the STOCK GT springs and would be comfortable. With lowing springs, you'll notice it's a performance damper and is a very capable combination.

Isn't the B6 designed for factory ride height and the B8 is recommended to pair with lowering springs?

I'm running B6 with stock springs and it was a good improvement over the stock shocks.

Not for the X or Y spring. With a 1" drop the B6 is fine per Bilstein customer service. Go beyond the 1" and that's no longer considered a "stock" height according to them.

Steeda dual Rate or Progressive springs is a great place to start. If that doesn't cure any quality issues, consider switching 19" or 18" wheels. On my '16 GT, the biggest drop in ride quality was when I went to 20" wheels. I got used to it of course.

I experienced firsthand the consequences of insufficiently trimmed stock bump stops when installing lowering springs and new shocks. When I later replaced the stock bump stops with appropriately trimmed ones it made a huge difference in the ride.

So it's been 2 years since I first posted on this and still haven't sorted this out.

I've had the car checked by 2 suspension specialists and the consensus seems to be the sway bars are causing the jittery /rocky ride . I had both front and rear bars adjusted to the softest setting and while its a bit better you can still feel it.

I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting the FPR Track pack. I'm liking the positive reviews on this product and the fact that all components are designed to work together

Why not just disconnect the sway bars? If only as a test?

Did you ever revisit the bump stops?

Put car on alignment rack. Measure how much suspension travel you have before the stops are hit. As well how tall the stops are.

While on the rack Confirm bars are horizontal and pivot well.

I have the FP track pack and am satisfied. I installed it with a friend and it is totally reasonable to DIY if you can have the car up on stands for a day.

Some may think it's too rough for a daily driver but I do not. If your roads are trash, it might be too much.

Which Whiteline sway bar kit do you have? Is it the kit that includes their links?

If you want a nice ride, stock springs and Bilstein B6's.
