So I was looking at the window sticker for a base model. In Equipment Group 100A it lists “fixed wing”. So does that mean the 320k+ car they developed and advertised with DRS is actually not a standard feature?

Yep, that's exactly what that means. If you want the DRS wing, you need to pony up for the performance pack (or whatever it's called). Same with the front splitter. There's a picture floating around somewhere of a GTD without the front splitter, and it looks comically ridiculous.

Not sure any other color then black is going to do the GTD any justice. Stunning in black. 180 from the white heritage that was at Daytona. I missed it if he showed the build sticker, but I'm guessing that particular car specs in the 400k range.
