Hopefully Canada will drop the tariffs on our farm and other products and we will then drop these tariffs.
Canada has hundreds of obstructionist tariffs and volume restrictions on all foreigners, plus hundreds more entrenched anti competitive regulatory obstacles (which are probably the biggest issue e.g, financial services, insurance, airlines, pharma, telecom, media pretty much everything except widgets is defacto banned for foreigner competition). It's all govt subsidized many 10s BN year aimed at protecting special interests. They will make the 95% suffer to peasant status throwing them crumbs of cash to protect the 5% entitled elites.

It's a perfect case study of what happens when one party is not sensitive or adaptable to its biggest customer's needs or the market.

Already the worst performing economy in G20 and projected to worst until 2030 at least in OECD 37 counties.

Auto is it's second largest export after Oil and Gas so this is a death blow I'm surprised the auto production plants have not announced closure already given all the unsold inventory.

I like to disassemble things.
I'm watching a couple of VIN's to see progress but it isn't easy. I'm assuming Bill Ford will get "001" but we shall see...

Also, Ford has been slowly adding pricing to part listings that have been blank for some time. For example, I have been watching and waiting for prices on the front dampers. Now that they have been assigned a price I can honestly say holy shit...

Where did that come from? That multiplier seems off from wholesale to dealer. I’m curious, going to see what gets quoted from who I deal with locally. Be interesting to see.

I can't speak to what your dealer will want to charge you but I can say that their system will show the exact same price schedule.

As an example, I went to Tasca's online parts site and entered in the same part number. Note their msrp is identical to what I showed.

So they'd make ~$700 on you. Ouch.

Good price compared to a WRC damper haha.

The facts hurt. Try and open a bank account at Bank of America in any Canadian city, or buy insurance from GEICO, or take Ame

Fir and Free trade is a transactional state there's nothing to argue about. I'm betting total capitulation by July 4th at the very latest.
