I'm not here to get into a tariff argument but some of this is utter trash
So just to clarify, you think the US should be taken advantage of when it comes to tariffs? The difference in percentage between what others charge us for tariffs and what we charge is absurdly unjust.

What is considered “unjust”? Come with facts.

For example, the Canadian tariff hike on dairy that was repeatedly said to have never been applied to the US. The USMCA provides very low tariffs on dairy products up to a certain point of import volume. Here’s the catch…we’ve NEVER exceeded that volume.

So, if you want to claim something, be prepared to come with facts and not talking points easily disproven.

Sorry, but that article is disingenuous. If you were a seller you wouldn’t ever sell past the point of where you were hit with the tariff, not if there were other markets to move your product without the tariff. My Uncle is a dairy farmer, to say that business is volatile is an understatement. Back to the Gtd, the auto tariffs are going to hurt, both in the short term. But long term it will be devastating for Canada. Guaranteed the manufacturers are now running numbers and what the cost benefit would be or not to bring production back. The simplest solution with all of our “allies” is the trades between should be completely open and non restricted and let the market decide the winners and losers. I delayed my allocation so Ford hasn’t contacted me on how this is going to affect pricing. Wonder if they’ve addressed it with those that are in the pipe now.

Or maybe Ford like a lot of other huge companies may rethink their strategy and actually bring manufacturing back where it belongs.....

"Facts in economic policy and modeling especially Macroeconomics isn't a realistic expectation people should have. unless they consider "facts" starting with the answer then creating a model that supports it, even if it means ignoring variables that would make it false."

You're so incredibly off base with just this single post alone it's laughable. You should probably look at more than just the Dairy industry and concentrate on the big picture....

You definitely don’t come across as a big picture guy. You seem more like a know it all/agitator. Someone who likes to throw shit out there to get a response.

You definitely come across as someone who's feelings get hurt easily by words you read on the internet.....that don't agree with your ideas........if you don't like the honesty, find the block button. Not too difficult

How is having a productive conversation about the happenings within our country agitating to you lol? Thank you for ignoring, I'm glad you have and I won't get some obnoxious response to my question.

It's easier to push that button as to not have constructive conversation that you disagree with. It's honestly what wrong with people these days. If you can't agree with something or agree to disagree it's just easier to block out and only believe what you want as opposed to listen and learn.

I agree, Minneapolis is full of agitators. I don’t live in Minneapolis, do business in Minneapolis and try not to drive through Minneapolis. You obviously don’t know the political landscape in Minnesota as a whole.

How the hell does one do business "IN" Minneapolis but not drive "THROUGH" Minneapolis to get there....never mind, you won't see this since you blocked me....just thought it was odd.
