Anxiously awaiting your success! I had been looking heavily into using the BMW 7 speed dct and have recently started considering the 8HP instead. I want to stick one in my '03 Cobra as well as a twin turbo'd GT350. The Cobra being first in line. The drive-by-wire throttle body is the only hangup on the dct. I haven't dug in deep enough to see if that is the case with the 8HP as well though.
I really can't wait to see how this turns out for you and how quick the shifts are once the paddle is pulled.

Does anyone know if the TurboLamik TCU has gear select control? Such as launch in 2nd or 3rd gear?

Excuse the bad picture i forgot to take decent ones at the end.

Started wiring in MAP, TPS and RPM + Constant 12V, Switched 12V and Ground.

Controller is already getting power and MAP sensor is also done and reads pressure.

Tomorrow i will search for a source for the MAP. I probably just cut into the vaccum lines near the intake and put a T split in there.

TPS should also be fairly easy i think tp2 (positve slope) is the signal i need. Correct me if im wrong.

RPM i think i can get from coil number 1 negative?

Back to the driveshaft issue the automatic 2019 Mustang uses the same flange as the 2016 gt350. Driveshaft would also theoretically fit but with the adapter its 2cm to long. So i brought it to upper Austria to get it cut. Should be done next week (:

I treat Honda civics like panhandlers at a intersection.... I scream get a Job and drive away as light turns green.
The key is to give them money in other neighborhood intersections so the word gets out and they all migrate that way....

Remote Tuning from Sweden :D. Wiring is mostly done for driving. I can already engage neutral with the bmw shifter. No errors in the wiring so far. MAP and Throttle also read correct. Once the oil cooler lines are done. I can finally start the car for the first time.

Working driveshaft and oil cooler lines.

Driveshaft is an 2019 automatic mustang shortend by 2cm + a different flange. Its a spicer 3-2-119.

Oil cooler adapter was also quite something you need the mmr transmisison cooler adapter (Not the Engine oil cooler! Its a bigger diameter than the trans oil cooler.) + You need 2 ford oem adapters (MR3Z-6K741-A).

I already started the car and after many errors i already can engage drive and reverse. I still have a couple of software related issues which i get tuned out hopefully tomorrow or next week for a test drive video(:

Still a lot of work ahead of me and many minor issues (many months of work) but i can say with confidence it is possible to swap a BMW ZF transmission into the GT350 and for sure also into the GT Mustang.

I think this is the first ZF swapped GT350 i think. Also maybe the first S550 Mustang with a ZF transmission.

Don't mind the grinding its the catalysator thats dragging over the road its only secured by wire haha.

The Wrench on the dash is because there is no output shaft sensor connected.

Are you going to swap to a paddle shift steering wheel (GT automatic) with your Shelby airbag and controls on steering wheel switched over ?

Probably a custom paddle setup like the ones from domiworks (:

Also does anyone know where to get a stable RPM Signal? I currently use the Coil Plug 1 Negative but on higher inputs it’s not really stable. Maybe the crank sensor?

I'm not sure they are compatible with a factory style steering wheel. I recall them stating their paddle shifters are designed for a Sparco and 1 other brand that I can't recall. However maybe with some modification it can. Unless ditching the factory style steering wheel with airbag is not a concern. Either way I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
Sorry I'm not much help on the rpm signal. Maybe look at the wiring setup for an aftermarket shift light to inspiration. I vaguely remember seeing a module you could install to specifically get an RPM signal for different things that require it. I just can't remember who makes it or where I seen it.

Yea definitly will be more like a custom solution.
For the RPM problem i think there is the Tach Adapter 9117. Was also thinking that it might be because i soldered the signal wire which is usually not good because of resistance. I think before diving deeper into that i'm trying my luck on the crank position sensor.
