Changing plugs today and took the opportunity to check engine build sticker.
Looks like gen 2 from late 2018, 286th day maybe, hard to tell from picture.

Car is 2017 GT350 and was purchased in Jan 2020 with ~7k kilometres. Dealer did not disclose that the engine had been replaced. Car now has 27k kilometres and I’ve had zero issues. A little disappointed that this might affect resale value if I ever decide to sell, but there are some positives with having gen 2 engine also.

I would personally consider a Gen 2 engine a "value add" and I suspect a lot of GT350 owners would agree. I doubt there is a "Gen 1 Voodoo Engine" fan club.

Be careful with those QR stickers. Don’t use any water or cleaner on them. They come right off. In fact it’s a good idea to cover them with left over xpel or similar coating, for longevity. In my 2018 that had a new engine, I wiped the QR code sticker and wiped it clean!!

Thanks, I like the PPF idea. Sticker was lifted on the corner when I took the cover off, just wiped with a damp microfibre. It would be nice if the QR code was active for owners.
