65sohc: Do you have a '65 SOHC? If so, what's it in?
A long time ago I was building a '65 fastback restomod into which I installed a 4.6L sohc crate motor and Terminator IRS. In my excitement I registered on various Mustang sites using that screen name. I never finished the car but kept the name just because.

I can't be OCD, because the letters aren't in alphabetical order.

On the other hand, I'm thinking about changing the miniblinds in the garage to window shades because a tiny sliver of light hits the car for about an hour during the afternoon every day.

Oh god...I didn't even think of that! Time to block out the windows in my garage door!

Between the time I ordered my car and delivery, the siding was redone on my garage and I had them remove all the windows.

I didn't think of this being an OCD type of thing but before I took delivery, I put up a portable garage inside my garage for my GT350. It's an old unfinished garage & I didn't want to be putting a car cover on it all the time. It provides complete uv protection!!

Climate controlled? If so, very nice....

The perfect car cover solutions for both indoor and outdoor applications.
You guys aren't OCD - you're insane!

I like that. :headbang:

OCD? We had the car delivered to the dealer with explicit instructions not to do a single thing to the car, aside from the PDI; no fuel, no wash/detail, no removal of the factory transportation tape and protective materials. We had the car transported to our home, where she was parked for five weeks (still without driving it), while waiting for our detail and full vehicle wrap appointment. She was then once again loaded in with Ferraris and other rarities in the enclosed transport to the detailer.

Fun note for you all: the paint job on our GT350s is better than a brand new $700,000 Ferrari F12 TDF that left when our car arrived. Ford is painting their cars right. No major paint correction needed, unlike Porsche, or Ferrari. Good job Ford.

OCD TIP OF THE DAY:
I did a wheels-off wheel cleaning and fender liner cleaning this afternoon. Trying to pull the wheels off without scratching the inside of the wheel barrel on the brake caliper is like playing the game Operation. Trying to put the wheel back ON without scratching the wheel barrel is utterly impossible. So after the first wheel, I figured out the solution: drape a rag or washcloth over the brake caliper, between the caliper and the wheel barrel, before either removing or re-installing any of the wheels. Voila! No more inner wheel barrel scratches!

That's awesome advice, thank you
