I debug front end, windowshield, side mirrors and blow entire car in off with compressed air (clean, filtered air) everytime I take it out and before I garage it...

I see all my patients in the hospital and then rush home to write my progress notes so my car spends less time in the sun.
Haha! Good thing I use the parking garage. no sun for Ruby. All notes done while at work.

You mean you have a filter filtering your compressed air before it exists the nozzle !

How often do you take the car out, and how often do you need to wash it?

I wash after every drive, can not be put in garage dirty or with bugs plastered on the front or windows.

Same here on leaving it with bugs or dirty but any quick detail will do the job. I like Griot's Garage Speed Shine. My favorite one of many I have tried. No need to wash.

Indeed! A line filter at the compressor line fitting to remove any condensation or whatever might find itself in the tank of the compressor.

I'm taking it out 2-3 times a week and also for weekend trips to a cottage on the coast where I use a cover - no garage. Same thing goes before I cover it...
I use a couple of spray bottles, one w water, the other w a pre mix of Meguiars car wash and water. I'm washing the whole car, two bucket, method pretty much every weekend. Still trying to figure out paint protection, Xpel vs Suntek vs Opticoat vs Cquartz....

I'm at a psych hospital away from the main medical center. The downside is we have no garage. The upside is we bring in lots of $$ for the "big boys" downtown. We're meeting with the new corporate CFO for the first time next Monday. Our director told me to ask for covered parking.

I don't even use driving gloves on the track ... driving gloves on the street seems a little crazy to me. I think it would look like you are trying too hard. Just my opinion ...
Unless you have sweaty hands.

Rubber gloves while filling the fuel tank is a great idea. I used to carry baby wipes in my Boss. I like this idea better.

65sohc: Do you have a '65 SOHC? If so, what's it in?
