VIN numbers for the GT350 and GT350R

Question; Will the VIN numbers start back at 001 for the GT350, and then start back at 001 for the for the "R"? For example: All the regular mustangs started with 001, the you have the LE (50th anniversary editions) I was told they started there numbers at 0001 and went up to 1964, or was that just a number plaque associated with the normally sequenced VIN number on a Mustang? Does anyone know how this might work?:shrug:

No way to tell yet. The LE was the first time the car number was tied to vin. The boss was not a unique body code, like the LE is. Ford hasn't stated yet, that I know of, how they will handle the gt350. There is an unkown code in the system yet, but it could be for a gt500?
