Out of curiosity, do we know if the photos of S550s with TE37s are Face 1 or Face 2? They look good enough in the photos that I've seen. Face 3 or 4 are more for Japanese cars that can run offsets lower than a +30, like an Evo, or RWD models like a Z, 240sx, etc.
I hope you receive good news from Japan, tonight.
As far as the "stripe", it's more of a line, very skinny, and barely noticeable. The TE37RT has a big, nasty stripe all the way around the outside rim. The newest TE37Ultra, however, has a machined line that goes between each of the engravings...
OCD? We had the car delivered to the dealer with explicit instructions not to do a single thing to the car, aside from the PDI; no fuel, no wash/detail, no removal of the factory transportation tape and protective materials. We had the car transported to our home, where she was parked for five...
That's funny. I used to maintain their network, when I worked in IT ages ago. The owner of Good Stuff is a huge car guy, and does motorsports, himself. Or at least that was true like fifteen years ago. Lol
Had ours courtesy delivered to Henry Curtis Ford in Petaluma, CA. The GM was very helpful, and most importantly, he did exactly as instructed. They did the PDI, and nothing else; no fuel fill-up, no driving, no wash or detail, no drilling plate holes front or rear, and left all transport...
I'll probably grow to like it, over time. At least the engraving isn't a bright color covering one of the spokes, like the sticker included with a TE37SL.
I'm looking forward to hearing if you can get these made with at least Face 3 all around. I may have to convince my lady that we need...
I have a soft spot for slammed cars. Completely impractical, but I've always loved the appearance. I can't imagine replacing the Magneride suspension for air suspension, unless it is proven to offer faster lap times given same car, and driver. For a street or show car, however, I think the air...
Are you asking in the general sense, or asking me personally?
In general, the PDI and NCP (new car prep) is the same for any dealership, but the volume a dealership sells on a daily basis, and the amount of vehicles they receive on the truck with a GT350, means that it will take more or less...
We are picking up our track pack, tomorrow morning! She arrived today. Her detail+full wrap is June 23, so she'll just be parked until then. Luckily, we work so much, we won't have much time for missing it. We're planning a driving vacation for the end of June, after she's wrapped. :)
How do you like running the square setup? Would you say that it gave the car less understeer, or had you already dialed that out with the suspension?
Love the car, and all of your wheel choices so far. I have two cars that currently ride on TEs, one with TE37V and one with the TE37SL. The...
It'd be quite a coincidence, if that stripeless Magnetic sandwiched between striped Magnetics, is the track pack they built for us last Monday. It's a front shot, so no way to check the decklid.
So, $375 with the sale. For a high-quality print with double matting and frame, it's not that outrageous. Still, it'd likely be more inexpensive to have a photo taken with a DSLR, professionally printed and framed, but it would obviously not be the same as the product Ford is offering.
There's an identical 350 parked right in front of our front door, in Tiburon. Ours is scheduled for delivery next month, so no side-by-side photos of two 350s, yet.
Is there any indication of what we may expect from the 350 TracKey? I'll also be interested to see comparisons of the FRPP short-shifter against the upcoming MGW.
