Several people with driving gloves. Is there a preferred brand/supplier??? I've never used them, but I like the idea of preserving the steering wheel.

My wife calls the car a 350 GT-R :frusty:. She actually was about to buy me a GT-R hat one day till I corrected her that a GT-R is a whole different animal.... We laugh about it though (secretly I want to kill her.)
Too funny :headbonk:

I have parking cones around my car even in the garage in case someone opens other card doors too wide.

Because I don't exceed 2500 rpm until oil reaches 170 degrees I tend to be one of the slower cars on my morning commute. Consequently I think people must look at me and think I don't belong in this car.

I "Armor All" the front wheel wells, and detail the brakes everytime I clean her as I remove the wheels...

I also slide under her and wipe down any parts I can reach like control arms and other painted surfaces..

I see all my patients in the hospital and then rush home to write my progress notes so my car spends less time in the sun.

Im sure ill be severe OCD with these cars as i am with all my other toys.
Its a habbit of mine to take care of my stuff, so ill do what it takes to keep them clean and flaw free. Nothing is perfect though, ill just try to keep them as nice as possible .

Every time I start the car, I get in and press the clutch and wait for all of the priming to stop before pressing the start button. Pre-flight procedure makes me feel like I'm getting ready to launch a rocket.

-T
Im also going to wait for it to prime. Thanks for adding to the OCD list lol

Every time I park it I have to look back 3 times to wink at it.

I have never washed a car that I have owned more than this one. I think its once every 1 to 2 weeks.

My seat is starting to move slightly going around corners, starting to get worse. I do hit a lot of corners on my drive to work.

Sometimes when I am leaving in the morning after letting it warm up it doesn't like to go into first gear very easy. My old mustang used to do this but clearing it through 2nd usually helped but this car doesn't like going into first for awhile.

I don't even use driving gloves on the track ... driving gloves on the street seems a little crazy to me. I think it would look like you are trying too hard. Just my opinion ...

I find when doing that the car is not as loud on start up, this way my neighbors will keep talking to me. :gossip:

Time to move and get a bigger garage. ;)
