Since this thread popped back up, i should be able to produce new dyno results on saturday, unless the dyno is free tomorrow afternoon, with that said this will be a final glory run (i have added headers and the ported oe tb, mainly due to my time being real compressed i dont have the time i used to for parts installs and dyno runs (army aviator)..so ill provide the info asap

Fyi, parts changed since last pull are:

Ported 84.5mm oem tb
Pypes stepped, catted longtubes

I understand that. But the mph in 5th is no different than an LS car in 4th. Are they running 5th gens in 3rd? I doubt it.
There are some key differences that make it so the Mustang rear tires are spinning faster then a 5th Gen Camaros... mainly the rev limiter on both cars I know my car after being tuned is cutting out around 7600 rpms and in 5th gear on the Dyno the mph reaches about 164... and I have 3:73 gears... with 3.31's and 3.55 the speeds get pretty insane.

I don't think the 5th Gen Camaro reaches those kinds of speeds on the dyno but I could be wrong I never owned one or seen one on the dyno before.

This entire thread is fantastic. Lots of amazing info and thanks to everyone that participated!! Glad to see others going NA and not just slapping a whipple on. I was planning on getting a CJ but this thread has swayed me

Here's a couple pulls on a dyno jet with my gt350 intake manifold with stock tb. Long tube headers, h pipe, rousch axe back, lund flex fuel on e85. The best run i made 478whp and 388tq on standard rating and 468whp and 380tq std. Heres also a comparison run with another 15gt with same mods other than headers he has mak cat deletes. His redline is 8k vs my 7.5k.

The hp is very impressive but the tq makes me sad. I made 440/404 with headers jlt and tune. That's a huge loss if that's what I'm expecting

do you use the same dyno and live in the same neighborhood? no? don't think I'd worry about it then.

Dynos are not Standardized Horsepower Meters run under Perfectly Controlled Environments to Eliminate Variables.

Dynos are car treadmills that make it more convenient to "tune in place."
