it has an engine!
We did a 40 roll - 140 and it was much closer, I only pulled a bit, his car was inches away back from me. We gona try another runs during daytime with better angles with a go pro next week
sounds to me like he just shifted better that run or had less wheel spin, or you had some extra spin vs the 60-150. Shifting just a bit slower could explain that gap in my opinion. Also find it odd its not going up to 7800 at least. Id like to see some runs with that.

This was one run owner of Shelby gt350 mani car asked for a high roll (65) I'm guessing he wanted to test top end on both cars and take away any driver error from low speeds. 65-150, cobra jet car (me) is on the right lane

I have a little room to be improving, I'm porting the cj which is proven to net 10- 12whp and also matching the mono blade opening size with a 5 inch Cai like Rev auto cobra jet guys are using. Im doing that next month! I'm gona Say I give huge props to this new shelby 350 manifold, it performs insanely good with a stock Tb
Wait...is he using the stock 80mm tb vs the 350s 87?

He's using stock 80mm Tb with JLT intake. He had 87mm Shelby Tb and JLT Shelby gt350 Cai but Lund said that wasn't gona give him more power so he's returning those two items

Do you have a manual transmission or auto?

Are you under the impression that the rev limiter is also the best shift point?
I have a manual and of course the limiter isn't the shift point. My tuner has my limiter around 7800 so I can pull 4th gear in the 1/4 mile without a problem.

From what higgs and jdm have said the 350 tb does make more power.

We are still waiting on more from OP to see how it does with the stock vs ported OE. Not sure i agree with lund. At least not yet.

He was told by Lund it doesn't make more power so now is a matter of more R&D for all tuners lol regarding this

I have a feeling there is more to that issue than saying no because of no more power.

Got my GT350 setup on the dyno finally and the results are below. Runs were done on E85 that was reading as 75.5% on nGuage Alcohol %. So E76 I guess.

427.47rwhp on the best run. The runs were both in 4th, as the dyno operator doesn't like to do 5th with the high wheel speeds. He says his dyno tends to run a little below what others dyno's read....whatever that means.

I had a stock dyno done there a while back in 4th also on 91 gas with just the CAI and it was 361rwhp...I have lost that run file in a PC mishap though.....I guess he could probably send it to me again.

So that's 427.5-361=66.5 rwhp gain.

Do these dyno guys realize that 5th is 1:1? It's the same as any LS car in 4th.

It's the mph they are worried about
I understand that. But the mph in 5th is no different than an LS car in 4th. Are they running 5th gens in 3rd? I doubt it.

Trust me I know lol. I don't get it. They just hear 5th and are like no way. My vette in 4th gear would push pretty damn high. Like you said no difference in a 11-16 mustang in 5th
