For the most part but with lund being swamped and prepping for a 1/2 mile event ive backed off a little on the revision requests theres some subtle surge left but we're still working on it, i actually still owe him a datalog from the current revision im running, ive actually been a little swamped at work as well
Did Lund fix the surge that you had?

I see youve shared this in a couple threads. Youve yet to share your own thoughts on the results.
I think it's clear that the cj mani is the top player here. Still want to see what the holley sniper manifold can do but doubt that it'll be better than cj mani

it has a larger throttle body and bigger intake in that test. The intake alone has shown gains on the gt350 by itself. I dont believe the more power it made was soley the manifold. I think its numbers would 35-45% less without that intake on the cj run. So far i dont think its worth the amount of work or cost needed to fit it. I am interested to see what the sniper does as well as the victor II. I agree with what they said about a max effort build the cj is better but not a lot. Which is why ford is most likely offering it on that frpp voodoo crate engine.

Well the results in that video were on Gt350 not the Coyote.
So kinda off the mark there.
Plus with the sniper and GT350 mani you won't have to lower the engine or cut your hood and it cost good bit less. Just saying

pointless video. why don't I post a video showing intake tests on a Ford GT or an 03 Cobra? Won't that be the same thing since it's a DOHC V8 just like our car?

Agreed, video is pointless. To much variation between the two runs, not an apples to apples comparison.

Thanks for being a guinea pig with Lund on this and sharing your whole experience so far. Now I'm not so impatient that I haven't been able to get mine yet. I apparently ordered the day Ford quit shipping due to packaging problems. When you "ride the bleeding edge, it's easy to get cut." I've bled a lot over the years, but apparently not this time. :D

I've heard a local guy from south Atlanta metro has been having the same problem with the same setup/tune. Jon will get it worked out though, I'm sure. Hopefully by the time I get mine.

Thanks again!
That is all...

Yeah right now my car is also surging a bit under non WOT throttle but seems pretty good at WOT.

I did dyno the car right after the install on the very first base tune and put down 422 rwhp and 361 rwtq peak but that was on 93 octane and the tune was obviously off and I have not had a chance to test any of the tune revisions provided by Lund...

I am also running 47lb injectors and currently on a flex fuel tune running E85 it had the same symptoms on 93 octane as well....

I will be doing some data longing on the dyno etc soon to provide Lund to see if they can dial it in a bit more. I am sure with time they will get all the bugs worked out.

My current mod list is: Air Raid CAI, Gibson Cat-Back, GT350 Intake Manifold, GT350 TB, Ford Racing 47lb injectors.

I do have Stainless Power catted headers waiting to be installed but not sure when I will get around to putting them on.
