11 months and 10,000 miles as a daily driver and no problems. With the GT350 throttle body and JLT cold air.
As has already been said multiple times... need more info on mods and tune.
That is all...
Looks great, Steve! What offsets? Bronze wasn't available yet when I ordered mine. I'll know ya when I see ya with those rims, that's for sure. I don't think you'll regret it... I haven't!
Summit's having an all how"]Ford Show in McDonough on Saturday the 25th. I'll be there.
That is all...
#Grunholle, thanks for savin' me a phone call. Saw it early this morning inside while walking the lot. At that price, I can spend another $72k in mods to mine. ;)
That will be their "Legacy" I never had any drugs that good in college... wow.:eyebulge:
That is all...
Also have to remember, when you become "Dr. Frankenstein" things sometimes go not exactly the way you want. The GT350 manifold and throttle body "fit" the Coyote, but weren't designed for it. Not like buying something tried and true like an Edelbrock carb'ed manifold for a small block...
Naw... some fool like me would do it for nothin'! :D
That's what a forum is about... sharing ideas and information. Not for pissing contests or my d!ck's bigger than yours. Which inevitably does happen... even on 6G from time to time.
The above statement in no way implies to any of the...
Plumbing
Mikeiscoo2, nice write up. Sorry about the wrong adapter plate. I guess all good things are worth waiting for. ;)
This may help a little with the plumbing on the install. GT350 intake, throttle body, and an existing JLT CAI. Just finished up mine last Friday:
I replaced the...
Hell, I had to buy one and install it just to find out!
Installed mine last Friday - got it from Benny@Levittown. GT350 Intake and 87mm TB. A step up from just a JLT CAI and Lund tune. Got the original tune modified by Lund, and couldn't be happier. 450 miles on it this week to work and...
Stock vs JLT Cold Air and Lund Tune
Both 5th gear pulls, both SAE Corrected. Stock showed a 14.7% drive train loss from Ford advertised SAE net.
Your mileage may vary. VOID where prohibited by law.
Next "installment"... a GT350 intake/throttle body to stretch out the top end.
Yer Welcome! I'm actually surprised no one has called it a taxi cab... YET. Being able to rotate is nice. The rears seem to wear a little quicker than the fronts. And with the square set, most of the understeer has gone away. Still a little, but working on the rear suspension now.
So far...
Dean put the engine/tranny into Shelby's 1st AC Cobra. I now have a yellow car... just had to do it! And I never held a grudge that he used a bow-tie engine.
Moon disks on the Bonneville Flats cars and his "barefoot gas pedals". Funny, most people have no idea what they are... most just...
I've got a square setup of 275/40R19's I'm running now. Grip is much better than the sh!tty Pirelli's that came with the car. Although they still do spin. :D Much better in the rain as well. Mounted on 19x10 +35 offset rims.
Do like the tires... wearing even with 7k on them. Have run...
"Basic Black" is where it's at! Hey Carlos, what's with the "Standard" gloss black. I'm offended by that word. Ain't nothin' "Standard" about that gloss black powder coating!
@mvp9080A... a 10" wide FS01 @+35 will get you this with a 275 tire:
A wider tire... you may want to...
My PhotoShop skills are that of a 7 year old... not a fast job, not a slow job, just a "half-fast" job. A side view of mine, which of course are "basic black". I do prefer the gloss over matte... easier to clean. I just keep a heavy coat of paste wax on them. And when they get dirty... they...
