In Washington, with my 2017 PP1 M6, my average is around 14mpg. 80/20 city/highway driving. I don't feel like I drive my car hard, but boy I sure get bad mileage.

Right now in California we are paying 50.5 per gallon in tax. Don't know what the amount is in other states. Do know that for a gallon of 91 here it is right now around $4 at Costco. In Texas I think it is around $2.30.
Jesus! I thought 3.60ish here for 91 was bad. Can we go back to COVID fuel prices? When I was stationed in Pendleton I do remember almost $4/gal for my '66 with 89/91...that was not fun...but at least I had a decent paycheck then.

Didn't know Cali had a special "emission reducing" formula, makes sense I guess. Don't know how that all works, my first guess being more ethanol or a higher refined octane that doesn't contain other stuff relating to harsher fuels. Elevation may have a play, I'm no engine diagnosis guy, but more oxygen (generally) requires more fuel. The FPP tune doesn't really help either for fuel economy lol.

I have owned my car for almost 3 years now and it’s always been around 17-18 avg.
On hwy I have gotten 23-24
I have manual and I’m in Northern California
Same here...
6 speed manual in Central Oregon
I always burn non-ethanol premium 91-93 octane.

I'm in CO at about 5,500 to 6,000 feet.
Mixed city/highway driving is 25mpg. I calculate it myself, I don't trust the gauge in the car.
The worst I've seen is 11mpg.
The best I've seen is 40+mpg (road trip through KS with a strong tail wind - total fluke but really fun to see).
I drive in track mode exclusively.
You sure it was a tail wind? 40+ mpg you might have had the leading edge of a tornado.

I averaged 26-27ish MPG on the first drive home from the dealer two weeks ago. Since then, my current long term average is about 17.8-18.2 MPG around town with a very light foot and occasional spirited driving.

6spd manual with 3.31s

In my manual 2019 PP1 I’m getting around 15-16 in town - but I’m definitely “spirited” with my right foot right now. On the highway with adaptive cruise, and in Normal drive mode I get about 28-29.

91 is all we have here in the mountains…
Here in California, 91 is all you ever see at most of the stations. You have to search around for 93. Funny thing is there’s a Sinclair not far from me that sells racing fuel... 100&110, but that is complete overkill.

A KS tail wind my friend! 40+ mph! For all intents and purposes the car only had 30 mph of wind resistance.

My '16 GT PP w/Power Pack 2 running 91 octane fuel gets 17-18 mpg in town. For pure Highway mileage I have hit 30mpg when on a nice long cruise at 80mph.

Your foot is that heavy OP. My foot is decently heavy and I get 16mpg in town in summer and 14 in the winter for the past two years of owning the GT.

Makes a difference if your trusting the mpg gauge in the car or calculating. I usually get 18-22mpgs (calculated) but I drive about 30/70 city/ highway. I had one tank a while ago that was all city and a lot of heavy foot driving. The gauge read 18 but I didn't calculate that one. I've seen the gauge off by as much at 2mpg so could have been as low 16mpg city. Even now boosted I get 18+ consistently.

Same here, except: pp1, gen 3 coyote, 95 octane fuel, mt82-d4 and otto particulate filter, no mods or tunes. I am suprised 30mpg was possible but it really requires discipline: 6th gear and about 80 mph for a long distance is hard to maintain.

note: mpg was taken from the gauge after a fresh reset before the long drive, it was not manually calculated.
