Details per posting requirements below, but a summary here: 2017 premium performance package with some Ford Performance upgrades on it and 23k miles. Car is super clean, only one blemish on the car, a small (smaller than a dime) dent in the passenger rear quarter (can't see it if you don't...
My thoughts were also that I really should be noticing it somewhere. The car does have another year of powetrain warranty left, which is why I thought going to the dealer ASAP to start a list of events (of sorts) may be a good idea, in case it ends up being catastrophic. I went back out this...
I think I chose the best sub forum for this:
About a month ago, I checked my oil level to find it a quart low. I immediately added a quart of oil, confirmed the level rose to the right spot, and called it good.
Today, I checked my oil again and fuck me if it wasn't a quart low again. I...
Yes it's the PP front splitter. Here's a link to it: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/fr3z-17d957-ba.html
Keep in mind, the PP has a different belly pan that meets up to the splitter, so if you get the splitter you'll need the belly pan as well. Belly pan link...
The GT350 uses the 15-17 rear bumper cover, which is straight across where the valance snaps to the bumper, where the GT500 uses the 18+ rear bumper cover, which has the cutouts where the valance and bumper snap together. If you get an 18+ premium rear bumper, you can snap the GT500 valance...
I actually bought my car from Carvana, was interested to see what they value it at now. 2017 400a, performance package, navigation, manual. 21k miles, fantastic condition.
I bought it from them in August for $34k, buy offer today was $30,231. No intention to sell of course, I get too many...
Hey hey now, I ASKED if a possible installation method was unsafe, and when informed it was I made it known I would install per the instructions, which I'd go out on a limb and say if a pretty safe was to install and run. I can't imagine Schorth would sell these harnesses and they would be...
In Washington, with my 2017 PP1 M6, my average is around 14mpg. 80/20 city/highway driving. I don't feel like I drive my car hard, but boy I sure get bad mileage.
Just an FYI, I went back and read the install instructions again after a few suggestions and the manual explicitly says that the LATCH bolts aren't rated for the level of force that an adult in a crash generates. Ultimately up to you, but I thought I'd pass along the info.
I have a 2017 with the Power Pack 2 parts/tune. The only reason I chose this path rather than buying the parts and getting a Lund tune is so I could keep my warranty. With a 2016, at best you're about to run into the end of your powertrain warranty, so I'd say go with the Lund tune and if you...
Keep it, give it a chance. I'm a tad biased because I love those super snake type hoods. I'm all but certain you'll get used to it quickly and as others have said, with OEM hood you can't see the front anyway, the body sort of falls away.
There's a different model for the 18+s, see link:
https://www.steeda.com/2015-2019-mustang-steering-wheels
(not affiliated with Steeda, just an example of the different models)
Edit: Apologies, I see your question was about the GT500 steering wheel, not the GT350 one. I think they're very...
THANK YOU for this, it's exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for as I browse the forum trying to prepare for the summer. Please sticky this, it's awesome!
Hey Andy, I'm hoping to make it a monthly or bi-weekly thing for myself, depending on how much I enjoy it (from what I hear I'll be addicted pretty quickly). I don't believe they're required, but boy they sure feel like they suck me into the seat, which I think will be great compared to the oem...
To start, I'll apologize for the pictures, it's rather hard to get good pics of the back seat. Okay, now to begin:
I recently got a pair of Schroth Quick-Fit harnesses for my car, in preparation for summer HPDE and lapping days. The Quick-Fit harnesses of course use the inside factory belt...
As someone who bought the SpeedForm spoiler from AM (painted in black) I would say just skip the ebay crap and go with that. $154.99 is a steal for it, and I can confirm it lines right up with the factory holes. The paint looks good on it and it has 3m tape pre-applied, so it seals right up...
