A while back I did my first lift with a quick Jack and it was an unsafe situation. The front of the car is significantly heavier than the rear much more so than the GT 350. This caused the back of the rails to almost lift up off the quick Jack.

It also did not help that pinch welds were digging into the rubber blocks.

I ended up getting some pinch weld aluminum blocks to go on top of the rubber standoffs.

This time lifting the car I went as far forward on the pinch weld as I could. I offset the quick Jack further forward than I normally do to place more of the front car weight on the quick Jack. That seems to have helped significantly , the car seems stable and is no longer sketchy.

Just figured I’d throw it out there for anyone who is considering using the quick Jack. Be careful with the jack position and weight distribution on this car.

I wish you safe jacking. ( get you mind out of the gutter )

I also have Steeda jack rails and have zero issues using my Quickjack 5000EXT. I place the medium risers as far forward and aft as the lifts will let me.

Imagine I could run mine across the table saw a few times and save ninety bones. ;-)
Soon as I catch up a couple more things that came up, and buy a QJ, I’m going to make a set of these from 2x4’s and a saw.

Lol the large blocks don’t fit under the car so no you don’t get 3 more inches

Yeah this is true. Those blocks won’t fit. Only way it would work is if you drove your car up on some pieces of wood to increase your ground clearance.

No blocks
BL-5000EXT lifting height, has increased 3 inches. This provides ample room to perform all the common vehicle maintenance tasks and allows you the capability to perform even the most complicated repairs.

referenced ...QJ spec sheet

Party time .....

The cut blocks appear to be the same size as the blocks that ship. I have a 7xxxEXT and while you have to put them on the jack "pockets" before pushing the ramp under the vehicle, they fit fine.
