This Mustang sure looks like a hatchback, but it is not. That is unfortunate, as it would be far more useful as a hatchback, and hatchbacks are popular in Europe where Ford now hopes to sell the car.

Even if Jeremy Clarkson likes the GT350 he wouldn't say it on the show because it's an American car.

He loved the Ford GT so much he bought one when they came out. He had huge issues with it though, and I believe eventually sold it.

British top gear's "first impression" before the reviews came out said they really liked the car, how it drove, and would think it was a good buy over similarly priced cars. That's pretty big from them.

My prediction for Top Gear UK reactions to the GT350:

Hammond will love it. He will buy one and park it in his front yard.
Clarkson will claim to dislike it at first and will find any number of mildly clever if snide ways of mocking it before driving it and saying he actually likes it - if only because Ford MyTouch works much better than it used to. He will still complain about the size of the fuel tank, no matter what size it is.
May will hate it and will find innumerable ways of insulting the car by comparing it to Ferraris and half a dozen other vehicles that are actually poor comparisons and will end up conceding, after being brow-beaten into it by Hammond and Clarkson, that he really does like the way it drives but will claim it's too big for British roads and is too vulgar for his tastes. :D
