If it's a track car like Ford says why would you want steep gears? They should offer 3.55s you would really be able to build speed, and not have to change gears as much.

I'm just saying have individual options as well. I don't want to foot a $1k+ CC rotor when it needs to be changed.

Question... I understand why they do packages so it's easier for assembly, but why not make options individual? I can understand a dealer ordering the car with packages. As a customer I want the option to individualize my car with things that will work for me. Like a GT350R I want regular iron...

I understand I'm being conservative with my estimates. That way we don't get our hopes up and when we see official numbers it's better than expected.

Ford knows that this car is a "want" not "need" so make us want it like a necessity.

They need to release specs soon. I'd like to plan finically. Or at least release the weight of the GT350 & GT350R that would make the decision so much easier.

Don't know what the weight of the FPC v. CPC is so I couldn't tell you.

Rotational mass is equal to 83.2lbs of static weight....

3500lbs is starting to seem like a pipe dream.

CF wheels on the GT350R will roughly save about (1.6x13lbsx4=83.2lbs) 83.2lbs of static weight.
