Newly redesigned Mustang makes it to the finals, but people are still up in arms?
Could it be that most editors and drivers over there prefer 1LEs and ZL1s to GTs, Boss 302s, and GT500s? How is that criminal?
Unlike the new Mustang, as promised, the Golf shed hundreds of pounds this year, is...
Going 150 mph on the street, highway is nothing to brag about. I've been that fast too, but have grown up since then. Like the guy who said he went 110 on a test drive it just sounds ridiculous.
As for the interior of the Camaro, hey, drive what you like and be happy. I could not care less what...
When I say best I mean in what Detroit has to offer. Hellcats, Z/28s, those are acquired tastes. But, the Mustang and Camaro will always be direct competitors.
To be the best you have to beat the best. I highly doubt Ford isn't gunning for the Z/28 and ZL1.
The Z/28 was crowned MT's Best Driver's Car this year. MT is not the end all be all, but the car is universally recognized as something special. "Outstanding" as Car & Driver would put it. I find...
I haven't seen a H2H with base model Camaro and Mustang over the last four or five years (since the 5.0L came back). To be honest, pitting base models against each other is not nearly as intriguing as 1LE v. Track Pack/Boss 302, ZL1 v. GT500, Z/28 v. Boss 302, etc.
^^Looks like fun, what organization are y'all affiliated with? I'm about to relocate to Colorado next month, NASA's Camaro Mustang Challenge is something I want to go out and see.
I'm also waiting on Camaro6, rather than jump the gun I will weigh the many options (15' Camaro/Challenger/Mustang ) available next year and see what's best for me. As of now I think I would prefer the Ecoboost to the GT.
This, GT w/ PP to a Camaro with Suspension Package is ridiculous and what I call reaching.
Absolutely ridiculous... Are we serious about comparing a Suspension Package with front and rear stability bars, upgraded wheel bearing and toe links to a "Performance Package" with a larger radiator...
I'm tired of the excuses, 15' GT w/ PP and 15' 1LE is a fair comparison. Forget the tires, run what ya' brung. These are performance packaged V8 pony cars at the end of the day.
The results show how good a GT PP is, but emphasize how great the 1LE is. I'm sorry, but it is all about the 1LE right now.
The M4 was fully loaded too ;)
I would hope the next generation be superior to the last generation, but at the end of the day it lost the H2H to it's biggest rival...
Here at Casa Ford getting service done and I just seen the 15' for the first time... Pictures don't do the car justice, very very nice car. Bumped my head getting in, but the interior is awesome and intimate. I didn't look at the front end for too long, but doesn't matter because the whole car...
I have several posts under BobDigi, but forgot my password. Requested a new one, but never received it .
Nonetheless, shouldn't matter if I have 2 or 10,000 posts, don't judge me on post count... Just thought I'd pour some cerebral salt on some heads over here because an unfavorable...
The "cost effective Performance Pack", "restrictive exhaust system" are the only excuses being thrown out there. Boss v 1LE has been done before and I don't think those tests favored the Mustang either.
1/4 times were identical in said comparison, if you want to talk ride quality and ergonomics...
