Hi all,
I’m ready to make more power and ultimately have my car run better. I have a 2015 Mustang GT, manual and 3.73’s. It does have boost from a stage 2 Procharger P1X (3.8” pulley 6-rib, passenger mounted), in addition to FIC1000cc, 2018 manifold, and little odds and ends engine wise - OPG/sprocket, and catch can, as well as a recently added twin disc.
Currently, I have a tune by PBD but would like to get it retuned but by either AED, Lund, or someone else; any suggestions? Unfortunately, I don’t leave near an E85 station so I’m limited to 92 pump and octane booster which is plenty for the standard 3.8” pulley (rated at 9psi) but I do rev it out to 7500 rpm’s which feels decent; obviously right at the peak -as any centri should- although what can I do to make more ‘mid-torque?’ Is it wise to pulley down to get more umph out of my midrange or is that mostly a tune thing? I’m not looking for a TVS feel but would like it to pick up just a bit more In that area.
What modifications should I do or would others recommend to help achieve more mid-power and hopefully see mid 700s wheel?
