performance package 2
They did not make a performance pack 2 for this year.

to my understanding it means performance pack but then the two means dual gauge (center of dash). I could be wrong.
It's definitely not a performance pack level 2. The pp2 started in 2018. All performance packs get the two gauges.

Curious why your not satisfied with PBD ? They are one of the most respected tuners across the board from my research. I have no affiliation nor product or service from any of those you mentioned but wonder why not give PBD an opportunity to retune for whatever your new set up is going to be?
I ordered One Ethanol S from Real Street Performance and it arrived on a pallet, via truck with a lift gate and a pallet jack. This was very convenient for me. It out at 90% ethanol content too, so it’s good stuff.

There are also a few other companies that sell E85 by the pail.

looks like good stuff but for $10+ per gallon the biggest advantage of E85 over high octane Dino juice pretty much goes away.

He asked what it was not if available. There was a performance package then. But it only one.

You’re absolutely right. I just had a moment to look into this. Jeez, I must of heard poor information before and it just stuck. Appreciate clearing it up.

I have a write up, but short story it always chugged during low rpm’s through 35-40mph zones (doesn’t matter which gear I am in), exhaust tips are always black and based on my logs it’s very rich, not to mention other little irritations. The Prochargers canned tune was better for drivability where as PBD has good WOT performance. I had roughly eight revision until it was deemed good; but it was never great.

I did send PBD an email a week ago to see if they’d take another look -I’m still waiting.

Octane booster and pulley down.
Octane booster and pulley down.
I’m at 9psi with a 3.8” Would you suggest? 10psi, 11psi?
I think the most I’ve seen has been 10 on my gauge but it’s rare and I’m well into 7500+ which I just don’t want. I’d rather cap the redline earlier and have max boost earlier - just shifting the graph I suppose. Though I’m not sure how feasible that is…

Honestly man, you have 2 options. Accept the limitations of your blower choice or pull/sell your current blower kit and go PD. Being forced to run octane booster all of the time because you have pullied down so far that you have to short shift to avoid getting into too much boost sounds like a recipe for disaster. Plus you would be missing out on where the centri shines, which is up top.

I'm not sure what your budget is but from what I am reading here, you are unhappy with how the centri delivers power. Pull the kit, sell it, save what cash you need, and install a Whipple stage 2 yourself using their included tune. 600-650 whp on pump 92, set and forget, and enjoy your new found torque. I'm no expert, just trying to offer some clarity to a fellow PNW'er.

Yikes. Not good and certainly not consistent with what I found, but I understand your position.

10-11 lbs should be fine on a gen2. I wouldn't go any higher than that on pump though. Personally, i run octane booster in every tank just to protect against shitty gas. I'll let the procharger guys chime in on shifting the graph.

I actually love the rush/feel of the centris - like how it never dies off. It consistently eats! I had a Roush 2.3L on my 2011 and it was fun but after 6k it just went mute. Didn’t pull anything like this Procharger. Sure it was quick with that sudden hit but died off shortly after. So I decided this time around to change back to a centri (had one on my 06). I know they can make power but I haven’t been satisfied with it for some long time; bugs and stuff and it’s fairly new. So you could be onto something here… sell and revamp my setup. 🤔

We are in very similar situations. I have a centri gen 2 w/ 3.73s just like you. Differences are you have the 18 mani and a much smaller pulley. I didn't see any exhaust mods listed in your first post, so I will be able to tell you if headers add some mid range in march if you're still weighing options to go forward with at that time. You're already making more power than me, so I don't have much else.

i only have the standard equipment stage 2 pulley for their CARB version. I take it you have the unit off to the drivers sided? If so, my buddy has one too and his pulley size is like a 4.5” and no headers on her. I do have Kooks but they’ve been sitting.
