most states lemon law allows the dealer 3 times on the same issue. you should review the local laws
it is 3 times or 30 days out of service. I have met those criteria and have started the BBB process just hate it dragging on forever like some I have read. I tried the Good Faith Buyback and that failed with ford. Imagine that....................

They just needed some motivation from BBB. Well go for a gt350 lol

How did you do that? Did you go back to dealership, or did they agree to buyback based on your prior difficulties ?

In any case, I'd get a base GT, drive it for a year, and then get a S/C, or at least the 4.11 gears when they become available.

I'd do the buyback and get one from a different dealer after all you've been through.

The last I read GT 350 is blowing engines due to oil pump issues, I'd take my money and get the hell out of there lol. How does that saying go fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

the smart money would run like hell. I am a dumbass. I will give them one more shot and if this one is crap I will do the same thing and then decide what to get. Nothing else is close in the class. Camaro looks like crap IMHO, Charger/Challenger are Muscle cars and while a hellcat is fast they handle like a brick. to get anything close its gonna be 60+ and that outside the range of what I want to spend. My kids like to eat go figure

is there another dealership nearby? Wasting time with a customer's car is one thing but making a 100 mph run is another. Was the General Manager very apologetic about, enough to give you confidence that it wouldn't happen again?

no he said he would "Take care of it" All I know is the tech was still there when I got my car back this last time.

There are several and one even has a comparable car to mine in stock with the PP and 400a package. Its not Ruby Red but I do like Magnetic too.

Not sure what I would do, if shopping at the same dealer. Customer service isn't ideal. I don't expect they would let go the mechanic for doing that but they should have been very apologetic and assured you it would never happen again. Do you think it be awkward if you have to take the new car in for warranty work?

yeah after a while the threat of releasing the videos loses weight. If I knew a good dealer mechanic in the area that I could trust that worked on about any make of car I would go there. As it is I just have an issue trusting any of them after my last couple of dealings with dealerships and not just this one.

there is a little risk buying a new car. You do get a warranty but dealerships are busy and may not be as motivated about customer service as an independent mechanic.

exactly. I dont expect an engine swap in a week but I think two is more than enough. When it hits the 30 or 40 day mark and having to force them to do it well then there is an issue.
