Hey guys, first time posting here. Figured I’d share the dyno results for my 2015 gen 5 Whipple car.
Mod list:
- E85
- Cat delete
- 3inch catback
- stock headers
- Duel 535 pump return style fuel system
- ID1050 injectors
- 3.625 Pulley

So far I’m decently happy with these numbers though I’ve been told it looks a bit low. Only thing I can think of is the fact it was dyno’d on Nitto NT555R2’s (305/45/17) with 30 PSI in them. I had brought the stock tires but the dyno operator said there wasn’t much of a difference between those and the drag radials.

Next up, 3.3 pulley and hoping my engine loves me.
Great post and numbers! With all of the Gen V's getting out there - there will be some good data coming out to help each of us!

Very true. I saw 20.3 and I think I remember others mentioning they were closer to 22.
I have a 3.87 pulley, 22 degrees timing, ARH headers, corsa sport 3". I do have every rotating part lightened up though. Aluminum flywheel, driveshaft, heavy g force axles, Baer eradispeed rotors and 50lb street wheels and tires. I made the same torque as you at 612, made 804 rwhp SAE at 7650 where it was shut off because of speed limit with 3.31's. Power was still going up. I shift the car at 8k and it's probably just peaking. In an ideal world 8500 is probably where it'd love to go to get me max avg power moving down a track. My pump gas tune has 18 degrees timing

I spoke to my tuner today, and they are commanding 20 degrees to be safe. Now apparently the car is running out of fuel up top even though I’m running Lethals stage 2 return style system with dual 535’s. Awesome stuff.

Shouldnt be out of fuel with that setup, maybe one pump isnt working right. Anyways definitely get it figured out before putting a smaller pulley on.

Working on it already. I understand why it didn’t make as much now with the two degrees less. Tuner was being conservative which is fine. But now I gotta figure out the fueling.

Your tuner doesn’t need to be conservative on e85, Unless you ask them to be.

I get why in this case. He wants to make sure fuel will uphold for longevity.

I would think if there was a problem, you should have been the first to know.

I mean you data logged it.

shouldn’t they have come back and said “hey by the way you got a fueling issue and I’m keeping this conservative because

By conservative I mean not adding the two extra degrees of timing and capping it around 20.3 instead of 22 like most others report seeing. I spoke with him about this and he said that they don’t like to run more timing than necessary and add extra heat. Instead of pushing the car with more timing they prefer more boost, since more boost equals more fuel and essentially helps cool it down more compared to adding straight timing. Which makes a lot of sense.
