Thanks for the info.

I’ve been searching the Whipple site but it leaves a lot to be desired. I can’t find any real info on the Gen 4 or Gen 5. Small amounts on the Gen 3 but the pics all look like the older Gen 2.

Could be me, but i find the site really difficult to get info from.

I must say though, in the pics I’ve seen in this forum, I really LOVE the looks of the Gen 5 over the 3 and way more than the 2. It just looks wider and meaner somehow.

With that said, is there a Gen 5 kit for the 2016? Then the optional things...
Your welcome, I'm glad to showcase Whipple new Gen 4 unit, can't wait for spring so I can get this car out. I agree Whipple website can be hard to find information on new products its and could use more frequent updates on products and such.

The Gen 5 will be offered in the near future for the 10-17 models, but how it will work and be sold is still to unfold.

I’m thinking bout a 2650 TVS to be completely honest...
More data required.
M122 on a 5.7 Chev (can we mention Chev here?) is hilarious fun. :cwl:
My buddy just picked up a 2018 A10 coupe with an Edelbrock on it. I am excited to drive it and compare notes. Have to wait a few months tho.....it's winter here!

Personally Ill be swingimg for 10s Allll Motor.

NA setups running 10s impress me wayyyyyyy more than a mega buck FI setup slapped on running 10s lol!!
why are you guys feeding the troll?
Ever notice it's always the guys with no interest in the product that have all these strong opinions?

Won't be until spring. Knee deep in snow.
You need a snowmobile. This is all child's play compared to a 290hp sled that weighs 625! I am heading to Northern New Hampshire to play with mine Friday. :) lol

Just to pass on some info.

Dustin says the gen 3 can be upgraded to gen 4 - requires some cnc work to the blower and gets fitted with the gen 4 rotors.

And will produce about 15 hp more on 1 size larger pulley as the blower will produce 1 psi more with the standard pulley

The gain from Gen 2 > Gen 3 on 93 was about 20-30hp correct? (I could have my numbers WAY off here)

How about power band? I'm trying to make sense of all these different rotor packs? Is the Gen4 better in the upper RPM range than the Gen3?

The Gen 4 new port design and rotor profile still generate great low end torque, but also make more top end power according to Dustin.

So then it makes sense that the Gen 2 can be rebuilt into a Gen 4 unless I missed something?

Yes it can, but as stated here before the cost of the machine work on the housing by whipple would cost almost as much a buying the head unit outright. Gen 2 guys should sell there’s for a fair price and buy a Gen 4 head unit outright.
