It better be. It costs almost double what your car does. Enjoy it. They are beautiful and definitely have the power and prestige.

The only downside is BMW maintenance repair and parts cost and losing the V8 and V8 sound. Do yourself and everyone around you a favor and keep it quiet. Don’t think for a moment that it sounds good. It doesn’t. Every other metric, fair game.

Other than that, it’s a fantastic choice and a beautiful car, and like you implied, more refined in almost every aspect as it should be. Enjoy it!!
The straight six can't even come close to the coyote. I'll forever miss the V8 sound.

That trend can't die soon enough. I can't understand how anyone thinks that's desirable.

There is quite a few of us in the BMW M world that don't like it as well. I for one keep my exhaust valves open to get some sound without the car being in Sport+ mode which gives off all the burbles. If you run a catless dp or no resonator midpipe you get the loud bangs. I too hate that shit.

It’s very fast and very classy. When they do that stuff it cheapens the car. It oddly doesn’t match.

An M car is the classy lady sat in the corner drinking cocktails.

The stang is the pole dancer on stage, who just wants to be the centre of attention, and party hard all night … :cwl:

Those cars are beautiful. I had a riced out one pull up next to me and I swear it was a freaking M80 firework that went off. The sad thing is, they took a beautiful (in its own way) car and made it like a Honda. Why not just buy a Civic whatever if that’s the case.

My Camaro does that with the factory tune. I guess I'm immature, because I like it. I probably wouldn't spend a bunch of money to make it happen, though.

The factory ones aren't bad. Its the ones where it literally sounds like a block of M80's going off on the way to redlights that are obnoxious. Seems like subaru and nissan guys are the ones with it in my area.
