A cocky rich kid at my university shows up with his daddys m3 comp xdrive once a week or so acting like its his and talks trash to every guy he sees about how "his car" is faster and better than everyone else's. He started talking trash on my 19 gt a10 with an intake, catless headers, catback, e85, and 305 ps4s about how its slow and "his" m3 is better and faster. Im wondering if around 475whp is enough to beat a fully stock m3 comp xdrive in a 60-130 for educational purposes.

Those cars are beasts. Stock they make 500 at the crank and are AWD. On a top end run it’ll be close. If he has any mods then you will got gapped big time. These new BMW’s with a downpipe and tune make big numbers. Tread lightly!

Ive seen 10r80s running mid to low 8s and with just bolt ons and e85 on the right tires. i know from a dig I do not stand a chance. the m3 is also 100% stock. its not his car and a mutual friend said he talks about how his dad doesn't want to void warranty by modding or tuning it so it wont be tuned for a while.
Like I said, it looks like it’ll be really close. See the link below.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter, the kid sounds like an asshole and no matter how much money he has it doesn’t change that fact. Even if you run neck and neck with him you can let him know that your car with all of the mods was way cheaper than Daddy’s M3. If you wanted to knock his dick in the dirt you could add a blower and still be cheaper than his car stock for yours modded.

Race him and find out. I'd think with your mods you take him 60-130. Your set up should be in the 9s so if he's stock i think it will be close but in your favor.

I wish I could. I plan on getting a stage 2 whipple and a few support mods to make around 800whp in the future but that's the only problem. Being in college, it wouldn't be financially responsible to drop 10k into a whipple for a car.

aye even if I lose, its not his car, its triple the cost, and it will still have been close. so its still kind of a win.

Yeah I am just saying for conversation sake. At the end of the day it is all young bravado and dick measuring. No points are won in life based on how fast your car is and getting into a competition on that stuff is extremely expensive. Build the car for your goals and who cares about what other people have that are faster, because there will always be someone faster.

That car will 60-130 at 9 flat stock

This won't even be a race

With launch control engaged and the boost holding above 15.0 psi, the quickest-ever 3-series leaps to 30 mph in 1.0 second. The scoot to 60 mph takes 2.8 seconds, and the quarter-mile passes in 11.0 seconds at 124 mph.

Meh....wait until the little shit wraps daddy's M3 into a telephone pole. Oh wait, that's what us Mustang drivers do.
