I’m pre-planning and I’m curious has anyone figure out how to do a no cut fuel system. I’ve never liked the idea of cutting any of the harnesses in a car (IE custom stereo ect). I’m curious if anyone has found the associated plugs and instead of cutting made pigtails? It looks like Aeromotive has finally released their drop in solution for the 18+ mustang Aeromotive drop in pump

That system will also require cutting some wires to make it function correctly. There's really no way around it unfortunately. The main issue is the level sender wires. They need to be tapped into off of the factory harness and connected to the wires on the hat where the level sender is wired to. The Aeromotive setup you linked above will also require you to run an afermarket wire harness to the power and ground studs located on the top of the hat.

For a stout aftermarket fuel system with minimal cutting/splicing wires I would say the ones we offer here from DivisonX are probably your best bet. We use an OEM 6 pin connector on the top of the hat which connects directly to our triple pump return style wiring harness with the same style OEM connector. Leaving the only 2 wires on the factory harness that need to be cut for the level sender.

Let us know if you have any questions and we'll be glad to assist you.

Disregard the image on this page as it needs to be updated but it does indeed now come with the OEM 6 pin connector on the top of it. Leaving only the 2 level sender wires which need to be hard wired in.

Unfortunately, there's really no way around cutting or splicing but it's not a major ordeal at all there is on connector with 4 wires under the back seat other than that you run a dedicated power wire from the battery for the fuel pump controller and hook up the ground wire in the trunk.

The Fore Innovations kit are the best on the market and are simple to install.

I have great deals on Fore systems and can help you configure it for you build.

Fore Innovations Fuel System Level 1E Dual Pump 800-900HP (2018-2023 Mustang GT) 42-821E https://www.beefcakeracing.com/fore-42-821e/
  • Dual fuel pump system
  • 800-900 rwhp fuel system (E85 capable with proper pumps and filtration media)
  • supplies OE HPFP and port injection, as well as small wet nitrous
  • single fuel pressure regulator, uses upgraded billet fuel rails

Fore Innovations Fuel System Level 2 Dual Pump 1000+HP (2018-2023 Mustang GT) 42-822 https://www.beefcakeracing.com/fore-42-822/

The Fore systems are really nice. I did mine on my 2017, I had never done one before and wiring was super simple with their fuel controller.
Beefcake always has great deals on them. I looked at other systems and they just weren't up to the caliber of the Fore Innovations systems.

You’re the biggest difference is ford is an actual fuel system company

Bring up buying parts from other people and patching systems together 90% of what they sell was made in the house

They stand behind everything 100%. You won’t find a better bunch of people to deal with.

Agreed 100%. Running the Fore triple in my Camaro SS and rock solid fuel pressure at nearly 1100 WHP on E50. Nice equipment and great quality.

What if an option were available that:
- Required zero cutting or splicing of factory wiring, 100% plug-n-play.
- Returnless/deadhead style using 100% OEM fuel lines with no cutting or splicing.
- Full OEM-style PWM feedback control - no regulator needed (tuning required)
- Supports 1000+ rwhp on E85, fully E85 compatible
- OEM fuel system diagnostics capabilities
- OEM-style bucket and venturi system

Would anyone be interested in this?

How soon can you get it to me, lol? I currently have probably $5k in fuel system components because I can't make up my mind what I want to go with and none of the currently available options check all of my boxes.

Mike,

I was hoping you would see this thread!! Yes!! I would!! I’ve always felt that a pigtail from plug to plug could solve the splicing issues even if it was for the fuel sending unit. Just wasn’t sure what would be needed!

PS - I was thinking the Radium bucket as you can do all kinds of pumps and or the new mustang areomotive pump as the have options all the way up to 1800 hp e85 on one pump

I installed a Fore system and did not cut a single wire or plug. You can take the factory connector apart and get for male end barbs to connect to the single wires needed. I have OCD. LOL

I purchased the big aeromotive pump, but think I've changed my mind. I have a feeling it's going to be a loud pump and have found no feedback on it yet.

Me too 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’m also wondering if you could do this without running a power wire using the factory system…🤷🏼‍♂️

I did run a power wire FYI. Thats a must for main power feed. Not a big deal.

I didn’t like running a separate power wire either but these dual pump setups can draw 40-50 amps so a single 12 awg just isn’t sufficient. Dual 12 awg or single 8 awg is needed.
