I didn’t like running a separate power wire either but these dual pump setups can draw 40-50 amps so a single 12 awg just isn’t sufficient. Dual 12 awg or single 8 awg is needed.
Mike what’s the power draw on a brushless day idk E5LM pump? I think it can flow up to 1100.

That beast can draw 70 amps or more depending on application and driver.
Ohhhhhh didn’t realize it would draw that many amps. I was think maybe 25 or 30 🤣🤣

What if an option were available that:
- Required zero cutting or splicing of factory wiring, 100% plug-n-play.
- Returnless/deadhead style using 100% OEM fuel lines with no cutting or splicing.
- Full OEM-style PWM feedback control - no regulator needed (tuning required)
- Supports 1000+ rwhp on E85, fully E85 compatible
- OEM fuel system diagnostics capabilities
- OEM-style bucket and venturi system

Would anyone be interested in this?
I think Arcane/Juggernaut already offers this as their stage 2 kit, or so it appears, aside from having to run a new feed line

No, in that system (correct me if I'm wrong),
- Both pumps run 100% all the time, actuated by on/off relays.
- Uses a mechanical regulator to control fuel pressure; does not use the programmable PCM PWM feedback pump control.
- Requires a boost reference hose.
- Does not use OEM diagnostics of the fuel system electronics.
- Uses aftermarket rubber fuel line and filter, not OEM hard line and OEM filter.

The stage 1 system does use the OEM feed line and rails, but Arcane says no way your making 1000 wheel with the tiny fuel rails and cross over.

Are you working on a system, or know of a company that provides one as you described?

Right, I was comparing to the Stage 2 that you mentioned before. The Stage 1 does keep the stock line, but still has the other disadvantages I listed above plus it has no fuel filter, which is a no-no with GDI (gen3).

Quite possibly. With centrifs and turbos this may be an issue, but on the PD kits I would expect them to have upgraded crossovers and fuel rails.

I'm working with an electrical/instrument engineer on a system. He's doing the design and fabrication heavy lifting, though.

You could start with those and if Mike can work out the no cut harness for the electrical.

I have so much “like” right now

Aeromotive has this pump in the 5 gpm that draws 29 to 29 amps
