I always eat at MacDonalds before I go to the gym and lift free weights. I mean all food is the same, right? Just eat a box of ex-lax every 3-4 weeks and you will be good to go (pun intended). Of course, your fastest times will be on the way to or on the throne.

It is just like your arse. It is yours, do what you feel is best, or if you are a masochist, the worst for it.

Hey, just not in a serious mood for this kind of s**t this morning. So, humor me.

And for God's sake, don't take this post seriously.

I occasionally use a fuel additive / cleaner, but I know it probably doesn't do much - especially as I only use VPower petrol. But it just makes me feel better and if you feel better using it every now and again then go for it. But you're probably just better off switching to VPower for 1-2 tanks and then go back to whatever petrol you normally use. Probably get the same effect.

It's a bit like people that take multi-vitamins ritually (500% RDA); if you have a balanced diet you just end up p*ssing all that excess out of your body - wasted money. I guess the same analogy can be made about additives. If won't do any harm, the car will just burn it up and spit it out. 😁

I did however use an oil additive once (on an old car) as it had noisy hydraulic lifters. A bit tappety. Ran a flush, fresh oil, drained again, and then fresh oil once more. Wasn't 100% happy so added the additive and that helped quieten it all down. So perhaps some additives do work in certain scenarios.

This thread is a clear indicator of the power of marketing.

Actually making people believe in snake-oil.

Simply amazing.

Any dietician will tell you it doesn't matter what form the calories take, just how many in & out.

Usaine Bolt ate Chicken McNuggets for breakfast and lunch the day of setting a new world record in the 100 meters.

I am using VP Racing Unleaded Octanium, and every 3k miles I run their fuel system cleaner to keep the plugs and 02 sensors clean from the residue of the Octanium. I only run 4 oz per tankful which gets me to 93 octane with 2 gallons of E85.

I haven't and probably never will use fuel additives, however, if I chose to run something in any of my vehicles or motorcycles I would use some BG 44k. I honestly am impressed at some of the stuff they have to offer as I work at a dealership and we do use a few of their things. Their EPR treatment for engine oil works amazingly well after seeing some of the sludge and gunk come out of someone's oil after running that through for 20-30mins prior to an oil change.

Some people will knock on some of this stuff and I can't say for certain that the fuel treatment stuff really does any good, I'm just saying if I was going to run some though it would be from BG.

Just an FYI, gasoline without MMT, will also clean the residue after a couple tanks full.
