Front tire issue. Alignment?

I did a quick search on the forum and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I have '15 GTPP with the stock shitty perellis up front. Anyway, I was installing my x-pipe over the weekend and looked everything over on my car and noticed my front tires are worn extremely bad on the inside. like I have stanced camber. The car has 13k on it, so the alignment warranty is out. The car tracks properly and doesn't wander over the road. Is this a common issue with PP suspension on these cars? I had a similar issue on my 1LE camaro, since it has much more aggressive camber than the regular SS cars.

If I need to, I'll pay to have another alignment done and buy new tires. Seems pretty shitty though.

is your car lowered at all or stock PP springs?

The car is 100% stock except the cat back. Unless the previous owner installed Springs, but he never mentioned it. It looks like stock ride height.

Toe in? Camber normally don't kill tires. It's toe-in causes the scrubbing effect.

If the alignment shop cant get the camber sorted (and it is camber) maybe a set of the $29 camber bolts might fix it up. Certainly cheaper than wearing that front rubber!

Camber doesn't kill tires, toe does. I suspect your front tires are toe out.

I've had toe issues on other cars and I've felt the issues, twitchy or slow. It's definitely possible though. Pretty expensive fix for a car with only only 13k on it

It wasn't this excessive on my camaro, just enough to notice when the tires had 16k on them. Much stickier compound too.

Toe in or out on both wheels will effect this, but too much camber positive or negative will effect tread ware. If you don't think so run a couple degrees negative for 10k miles with good toe and tell me you won't have inner edge wear. Especially on a performance car.

I guess I might as well go full in and lower the car. Then get an alignment and new fronts. Since this shit isn't covered under warranty.

Yep mine as well get the springs in then do alignment.

Most places will check the alignment for nothing and only charge you if it needs aligned. If not that say an alignment is $80, they'll check it for $40 and the other $40 if needed. At least in my area. It'd be an easy way to know for sure in your case.

I'll make a few calls and see if it's an option. I'd rather get an intake and tune first.

I'm guess it is a toe issue and not camber. You can have over 2 degrees of camber and not have major fire wear.

I had a similar issue on my 15 GT PP and that was at 7k when I put on KWs (when I saw the crazy wear pattern). My guess was a factory tie issues - maybe an on the carrier moment before my car shipped.

I had to replace front rubber at 7k and am pretty sure the alignment on now is correct. Time will tell, but that did not look like common wear.
