Hello everyone,

Just wanted to ask you about this piece of plastic around front speaker which slightly rattles when I’m driving on a bumpy road.

It only rattles when the AC is at for example 22 degrees or lower and I’m driving on a rough road so there is lot of vibrations.
When the front AC is at for example 28 degrees or higher, then it doesn’t rattle at all.
So it has something to do with plastic expansion

I already tried putting antivibrant tape all around that area as you can see on the video but didn’t really help…

Any suggestions please?

Thank you very much!

maybe try taking out the speaker and leaving it out. Many of us disconnected it anyway (search that) for better sound quality. Then with that out you could also see what s going on. It s hard to tell by the vid.

It makes the sound better? Really? I wouldn’t guessed that to be honest.

well your gonna have to see how the black piece you are flexing is attached. You ve gotten yourself in there and now it s just trail and error. seems more like a creek than a rattle, so maybe nothing is loose. looks like that plastic is just flexing. maybe that come out too if you have no speaker??

For anything rattling, TESA Tape (cloth tape) is great for insulating between pieces around trim clips, etc.
